I stayed one night at this hotell. The rooms was nice and clean but the restaurant was terrible. The menu indicated fine dining, and we orderd a 3 course menu with redvine in hope to have a nice evening., The food was not prepared well and the service of the staff was very bad, they seemed to have given up on life. They forgot several of our orders, served us ice cold red wine and bad tasting drinks. We could not even drink our pina colada, and that should be a pretty standard drink. I have never experienced so bad service and food at a restaurant before, and the whole evening was comical.

Great hotel close to border of France, Germany and Swisse. Perfect rooms for families, nice and clean. I stayed with 2 kids and had pleanty of room perfect bed and bathroom. Restaurant, swimpool and bistro are nice to stay.

Gut: - die Lage an der Autobahn - günstig für Durchreisen ohne Anspruch ans Umfeld - Parkplatz direkt vor dem Gebäude Dem Preis angemessen sind: - die Mini-Zimmer ohne Charme und Komfort Luft nach oben: - Sauberkeit der Zimmer - Beim Frühstück müssen alle Gäste aus tiefen Tellern essen - wenn überhaupt welche/und Besteck bereitstehen. Sind Brot oder andere Dinge verbraucht, werden sie nicht aufgefüllt. Auf dem Boden vor dem Buffet lagen gebrauchte Putzlappen. Die Tische waren nicht gereinigt. DAS GEHT GAR NICHT: Wir haben einen Tag nach unserem Aufenthalt bemerkt, dass wir ein Etui mit einem Smartphone und einer externen Festplatte im Hotel vergessen hatten. Nachdem es dort zunächst nicht auffindbar war, ergab eine Smartphone-Ortung, dass es sich sehr wohl noch im Ibis Mulhouse Île Napoléon befand. Bei einem zweiten Anruf dort haben wir direkt gesagt, dass wir das genau wissen, dann wurde der Fund auch bestätigt. Wir haben darum gebeten, dass uns das Etui nach erfolgter Vorkasse zugeschickt wird, das wurde abgelehnt. Dann haben wir vorgeschlagen, einen Kurier zu buchen und zu bezahlen, der das Täschchen abholt. Auch dies wurde abgelehnt. Am Ende bin ich noch einmal von M****ille nach Mulhouse gefahren, habe mein Eigentum abgeholt und bin wieder zurückgefahren. Das hat mich zwei Tage Zeit und mit erneuter Übernachtung in einem anderen Hotel fast 500 Euro gekostet. Ich bin irritiert und erschüttert, dass uns das Ibis Mulhouse Île Napoléon nicht über den wichtigen Fund informiert hat. Als wir das Hotel damit konfrontiert haben, wurde behauptet, man hätte uns nicht erreicht. Aber das ist bullsh*t. Sowohl per Mail als auch per Telefon hat uns nachweislich keine Nachricht erreicht. Wenn man eine Socke oder einen Regenschirm vergisst, ok. Aber ein Smartphone und eine externe Festplatte sind sehr wichtige, sehr private und schwer ersetzbare Dinge. Diese einfach einzubehalten und dem Besitzer den Wiedererhalt so schwer wie möglich zu machen, kann ich durch nichts entschuldigen.

Our experience at Roi Soleil Mulhouse was unfortunately not ideal, but this was only partially the hotel’s fault. The non working AC unit in our room on an unseasonably warn fall night was definitely an issue that kept us from getting a good nights sleep, but equally important was our failure to recognize a double bed was not going to work for a couple who usually use a king size. A twin room ( assuming a queen was not possible) would have been a better option; lesson learned from our perspective. Our room was small, but clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable, especially in light of the very reasonable room rate. I don’t think we’d stay there again, but for the budget traveller,it’s a decent option.

Not sure what people expect for their money these days but overall we had a good stay. We paid last minute €103 euros for 2 adults and 2 children with access to a swimming pool. Pros *Good quiet location (we used as a stopover to Switzerland) *Okay swimming pool for the kids to take a quick dip. Sunloungers available. *Games such as ping pong, large connect 4, footballs, badminton, boules etc and a nice green area next to the pool to play. We had great fun with the kids. *Toddler corner with large lego bricks, books and games near the bar area (great for watching the kids while enjoying a drink) *nice breakfast - (but not sure it’s worth the €15 price tag). Xx an air in or outdoors *nice outdoor seating in garden area *ice cold water dispenser to fill water bottles Cons *No air con. We stayed when it was 30degrees with only 1 small fan. *Could only open window a little as we were on ground floor with small children. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well. *Food in main restaurant wasn’t great and around €18/€23 per person. Limited menu for dinner - steak tartare, burger, steak, sausage & mash, swordfish, a salad. I had the burger and my partner had the steak. My burger was tasteless. Didn’t rate the steak - so they not season their food here? *kids menu is €13 and consists of a main and dessert. Again, not great quality for the price. Moral of the story here - try and eat before you arrive or check out the local Italian restaurants nearby. *drinks are EXPENSIVE! €9/10 a pint and €4.5 for a Coca Cola! Rooms: *are designed in a ‘retro’ style but I must say our room was really clean, 8” *no chipped furniture, no stains on carpets or walls etc. *Fluffy towels and clean bedding *kettle and some hot beverages available in room but no tea. *Bathroom looked new (although in a dated style) so no complaints here really. *Bed was comfy enough for 1 night. Check in is very Informal, it’s a laptop at a desk in the foyer - this seems to bother some people?! All in all the main thing that let it down for me was the main meal, not good quality and overpriced. It’s too hot during summer months so take an extra fan or your own air con unit.

This was a perfect hotel for us when we wanted an overnight stop on our way from Italy to the UK. Just a few minutes from the motorway & easy to locate. Yes it is basic but for the price it is excellent. It was clean, the shower was good & the bed was comfortable, all you need for an overnight pit-stop. The hotel restaurant was closed when we were there but there is a bar/restaurant a two minute walk away where we had dinner. We didn't stop for breakfast as we wanted to get on the way & we had food with us.

Easy access to the accommodation from the cycling route near a big shopping center. Clean rooms with heating and air-conditioning and either a double or 2 single beds, Thank you very much for helping me after the accident. I can recommend the hotel to everyone.

Excellent hotel. The staff is very nice and competent. Cleanness without fail. Letter is very good. Many shops nearby, very practical. Excellent breakfast. Excellent isolation. I recommend this very good hotel.

This facility is a senior home. We had booked the double room via the internet and were friendlyly welcomed at the reception. The room is clean and ordened and has a small kitchenette. As we traveled in August, it was 29 degrees in the room and we would have wished air conditioning. What is particularly beneficial to us to stay our bikes in a closed bike room

We were walking we sleeped one night, near Mulhuse and Basel comfortable for airports also offer restaurant service but we did not enjoy free parking The rooms are large and well maintained. The bathrooms are functional even if the armory is to be replaced.
