Have done 2 weeks of Junior Tennis Camp. One without and one while staying at the Academy… Tennis: There really isn’t much training. They just let the kids play, and play, and play… On the last day there is a ceremony where everyone gets a participation trophy. Fun fact: in both weeks we were there, it was always the biggest cheater in the whole team who received the sportsmanship award. One driver of this is that the “coaches” didn’t watch what was happening on the courts. Even on the final competition day… Key “value” taught: “Cheat as much as you can…” Organisation: They have an app that rarely works. Forget the schedule on the app. It constantly changes and you will never know where your kid is or is supposed to be… Yiu get access cards for the Academy that only work 50% of the time. Other: - We had some heavy rain upon which everything broke down for the rest of our stay. No spa, no pool, building materially flooded. Zero compensation. - You will virtually never get towels for the gym (or the pool, IF it’s open). Need to bring your own, but not from your room as that’s not allowed… - Around 2/3 of water stations don’t work - On the last day the kids have a ceremony, BBQ and festives. The parents, aka folks who paid for everything, don’t get anything - they can watch with no food and not even a glass of water. Awesome way to end the experience in a memorable way - You get free access to the Rafael Badal Museum - except you never get access because it’s always booked out Bottom line: Mass factory, highly commercialised, you are just a number.
Simple establishment. The rooms are not small and have all the comforts for a hotel of its category. It has no charm but it does its job if what you are looking for is just a place to spend the night. The staff is very friendly.

Real wow factor of the room with marina view and a huge balcony. 5 star accommodation and service. You can actually watch the yachts docking in, all day long. Peaceful harbour with no waves but lots of amazing vistas. Sports facilities and pool and lifts and library and restaurant with 24/7 reception. Next door to the most of amenities. Top attractions like Caves of Drach and parks are 2 minutes walk. Small community that is a real gem. Unspoilt Mallorca at it's best. Loved the experience. Must come back. Place is really busy after April, but we loved the tranquility of March.
Beautiful stay right in the heart of Porto Christo - a small lively town that we loved! Lots of beautiful nearby coves to explore and wonderful cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself was beautiful and perfectly clean with lovely air conditioned rooms and new bathroom facilities. Francisca was so helpful and friendly! Would definitely stay again.
we found Porto Cristo while on holiday in another resort earlier in the year and just had to book a stay in this wonderful place , and the only hotel we wanted to stay was The Felipe ! Sitting above the beach/harbour with views to heal the soul .We had a top floor room with all amenities , but the balcony is where we spent our time whenever we were in the room . The hotel was everything we hoped it would be with excellent personal service and excellent food served in the sea facing restaurant and veranda. The reception staff were very friendly and informative and all the staff we met were very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Felipe was kept very clean in all the areas used and the restaurant was spotless with a varied menu each night and the tables were cleared swiftly when people finished . We were only there for a long weekend and arrived early but ere able to leave our cases in reception and were told where to park the hire car up the road for free and from that moment on we had the best weekend. We had to check out at 12 on the last day but werent flying until later so they said we could leave the bags and use the spa showers later to freshen up before we departed . I cant recommend this hotel highly enough and we will 100% be returning to this wonderful place in beautiful Porto Cristo

We stayed for one night. Breathtaking views. The drive is insane, our designated driver literally cried when we got to the top! 😂 Pros : friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, location. Location is unreal. Cons : as many other reviewers have said, the food is bad. It’s canteen food, for €20. They know you’re kinda stuck there, at the top of a mountain so you have no choice where to eat unless you want to do the insane drive in the dark! So they can cook rubbish and charge whatever they want. Overall: I’d recommend this for one night. Even though the food was insanely bad, the views are an absolute do not miss. They are beyond beautiful. You can see baby mountain goats sunbathing and running around. We had a lightning storm the night we stayed, could see the forks hitting the ocean from where we sat drinking our wine. The monastery itself is stunning. So yeah, make the trip for one night for the experience but if you’re staying longer, you’re going to have to get used to driving up and down the mountain, possibly in the dark which I seriously would not recommend, in order to eat. My 5 stars is because it’s the most beautiful location ever. Makes up for everything else, if it’s a very short trip.
