We visited the hospital for a weekend. The room in cultivation was clean and maintained, the beds in a proper condition. The bathroom is also clean, unfortunately the shower hang disturbs something during the shower, as it remains constantly sticking to the body. There is a small flat-screen TV with all the usual programs. The food in Roseneck is excellent. German or French cuisine is traditionally or modernly interpreted, everything is very tasty and of very good quality. The service staff is very friendly, fast and also responds patiently to special wishes.

Bin Ende August zu einem Kurzurlaub dort für drei Nächte gewesen. Einschließlich Buchung mit freundlichem telefonischen Kontakt war alles super gewesen. Mein Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und sehr sauber. Das tolle Frühstück und die gesamte Betreuung durch die Familie ließ bei mir keine Wünsche offen. Ich habe mich wunderbar erholen können. Parkplatz war da, WLAN hat gut funktioniert, Cappuccino gab es und das Frühstücksei war auf den Punkt frisch gekocht. Tipp: Der riesige, wunderbar gepflegte Kurpark ist eine Gehminute entfernt und zu den Nordic-Walking-Strecken (hier Terrainkuren genannt mit drei Schwierigkeitsstufen) sind es knapp drei Gehminuten. Unbedingt empfehlenswert sind außerdem die Trinkhalle (mit drei Quellen - im Sommer von 07.30 - 19.30 Uhr, im Winter von 08.00-18.00 Uhr geöffnet), die Wanderstrecken und die Tourist-Information samt der wunderbaren Therme (das Saunaland ist unvergleichlich und gönnt euch eine Frankenwald-Bürstenmassage für 40min = ist Ganzkörperpeeling mit anschließender Fichtenzauberöleinreibung ! - Termine am besten vier Wochen vorher buchen). Alles in zwei bis drei Gehminuten vom Hotel ”Haus am Kurpark” zu erreichen. Und wer möchte bzw. empfänglich dafür ist: Es gibt im Kurpark acht gekennzeichnete Kraft- & Energieplätze. Diese sind gut beschildert und den Elementen Erde, Wasser, Feuer und Luft zugeordnet. Sehr gute Flyer zu den Kraftplätzen, zum Wandern und zu weiteren Nordic-Walking-Strecken (z.B. zum ”Grünen Band” an der Grenze zu Thüringen) gibt es an der Tourist-Info im Kurpark. Der Ortskern ist nicht groß und ebenfalls nur zwei Gehminuten entfernt, wo es Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants gibt. Tipp: Das ”Schäufele” im Hotel/Restaurant ”Promenade” ist extrem lecker und groß - ging bei mir mittags ohne Vorbestellung und war schnell auf dem Tisch mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Im Sommer sind auch die ”Löwen” im Kurpark und ganz Bad Steben aufgestellt, habe nicht alle gefunden. Es soll wohl zwölf davon geben. War zum ersten Mal im ”Haus am Kurpark” und werde wiederkommen ! Vielen Dank an die Familie.
