Best Rothenburg ob der Tauber Hotels

It is located in the center of the old town, making it convenient for sightseeing. However, the town is paved with cobblestones, so moving a large carry-on was quite difficult. The hotel staff were very helpful and I was able to process the check-in smoothly. There were some minor issues, such as the door being hard to close, but the room seemed to have been renovated and was very clean. There was no air conditioning, and the balcony was connected to the next room, so security is important. We were given a room on the second floor (actually the third floor), and the view from the balcony was great. Having bread and coffee at the table outside was great. I didn't have breakfast this time, but I would definitely like to have it next time I visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The room assigned to us by the Rothenburg Hotel is almost equivalent to the best location of this hotel. It is in the highest position among the rooms in the hotel. It has large floor-to-ceiling windows and a wide view. There are old houses nearby and undulating countryside in the distance. The room is very large and the bathroom is also very large. From the bathroom, the facilities may be a bit old. The huge bathtub even reminds me of the design of suites in some small places in China, but the invincible scenery outside the window clearly shows the exotic sentiment. The hotel is an old building, which is hundreds of years old. The keys are all old objects, heavy, simple, and special. Then the bar and restaurant downstairs are also scattered, but we went in the off-season, so there were not many people. The location of this hotel is also invincible. It is just below the tower of the city hall, next to the city hall square, next to the Christmas gift shop that is worth visiting, and there are all kinds of restaurants around. It is simply the best location. There is no parking lot. You can get on and off the luggage, but you have to park in a nearby parking lot. The machine pays the fee. When I went there, there were not many people and cars, which was also very convenient. Very good experience, worth full marks.

Old hotel - restaurant, all wood structure! The interior decoration is also very old, full of wood flavor! Can visit, accommodation is not very recommended! There is no elevator, the luggage has a big handsome guy to help carry, the car can also be replaced, remember to give a tip, physical strength ^_^

Lovely hotel just outside of the old town, close to the station and from my room I had excellent views of the city walls. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable (despite only being a single bed), and the room was small but very cosy. Breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice. The only slight negative I had was that the pillow could have been a bit thicker, but that's only a minor point that doesn't detract from a really great stay

Please note that Figure 1 and Figure 2 are the photos of the main entrance of the hotel. If you just look at the pictures on Trip.com, you will be fooled. The pictures of the two wooden tendons displayed on Trip.com are an exhibition hall, not a picture of the hotel! The location of this hotel is not very good, on the edge of the city, but the service is very good, it is an inn opened by two brothers, I don't know why the online rating is so high, to be honest, I am a little disappointed. The room given was in Room 6 on the 3rd floor. There was no air conditioning and it was so hot. There was a mini fan in the whole room or it was very noisy. It was the kind of fan we disliked in the 1970s and 1980s. The only highlight of this hotel is that there is a back garden, breakfast can be very cool in the garden, but swarms of bees will come and grab jam. Be sure to lock the room door when you sleep, otherwise it will be opened by others. Later, I went around in the back garden and found that room 4 was air-conditioned, but our room was not. The last Tumuji room is an exhibition hall, not their hotel! The pictures hanging on Trip.com by their hotel are suspected of misleading consumers. It is recommended that Trip.com delete the pictures on their homepage after inspection.

This hotel is not big, but it is very, very clean. It is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. There is no one. The owner is a grandfather and gentleman. The view of the hotel is very good. Breakfast is very pleasing to the eye and parking is very convenient. , 10 euros a night is not expensive, although there are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good, the hotel layout is very historical

I love this hotel. Location is few minutes walk to the centre and 2 mins from train station by taxi. The hotel's history speaks for itself from the decor and the building. While the room is not those swanky modern decor, it is traditional and huge with a settee and table and a nice welcome card from the hotel. Just like staying in your favorite grandma's house. Comfy and adequate with all the usual hotel amenities. The room opens to a verandah with a good view of the surrounding area and one can hear the church bells ringing which makes my stay more authentic as if I am transported back in time. The bathroom is clean and adequate toilettries and has good strong shower. The staff are polite and professional. Breakfast is adequate with the usual servings eggs, cereals, cheese, breads, fruits etc. And they have elevator to take up my large and heavy luggage. I had a nice stay and wished I could extend my stay but my itinerary is tight. Perhaps next time.

The room was spacious and just fine for our needs. Requested a room with A/C and was not disappointed. The desk staff were accommodating and friendly. The main gentleman seating people for dinner could have been a lot more friendlier. He was rather abrupt and several people wanted to sit in front of the hotel to enjoy their meal. He simply pointed to the Bier Garden with no explanation. The hotel is kind of funky with rooms situated on different levels and what seemed to be across connecting buildings. Many people were looking for they rooms and Mom and I got turned around more than once. The lift only went to one floor so we walked down one flight to walk across the building To catch the lift, then around a corner and up some steps back to the other building. I thought it was fun and gave the place old world charm.

Despite traveling solo, I got one of their Comfort Double Rooms, as I was there for 3 nights and appreciated the roominess. The staff were all just wonderful.....so kind and friendly and helpful. The breakfast...well, it was the absolute best during my 3 week, 5 hotel visit during the Christmas Markets. I was pleasantly stuffed every morning! A recent reviewer gives the room only 3 stars. Okay, I admit that they are not sumptuous, but they are a common type of comfy, simple, German that I love. My room (20) was spotlessly clean and the chairs were comfortable and the bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. My room had no stunning view, but did have WiFi. The whole experience was so memorable for me, and I would not hesitate to stay again.
