The room facing the sea is super bottomless and beautiful. In addition to the little sun in the morning, the other perfect homestays also provide breakfast and the portion is full. It is a pity that the father has no attractions, but because the room is beautiful enough, So it's fun to stay in the room all the time.

The owner is friendly, the environment is spacious and beautiful, the room is bright and bright, and the wet and dry are separated. The swimming pool provides a great swimming ring, and the breakfast is also delicious. He greeted him kindly before leaving, and will stay again if he has the opportunity.

I recently stayed at the Maple House on a two-day getaway in Yilan County with my girlfriend. Service was genuinely caring – the breakfast boxes made available to the guests were nice simple comfy food. The room was good, clean and the WiFi & other features worked well. There are some nice touches such as little cups made-available in the morning to guests for them to feed the pretty fishes in the pond. The garden is well maintained, and the hotel is located nearby rice fields; there is lots of green around! Location is convenient – walking distance to the LuoDong train station (even if the walk by the main road is a bit dangerous without a proper sidewalk.) The property has bikes available for guests and the ride to the beach is about 30min. through very nice bike paths by the river. Highly recommended. Really a lovely destination!

I booked it after reading the reviews that the bed was very comfortable and the service staff was very nice. When I checked in, I found out that this is a pilgrim hotel. There seemed to be two pilgrimage groups that day. The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities are old, but basically The environment is clean. The bathtub is a very ordinary bathtub. There is a bath, but it really doesn't feel like a hot spring🤔. There is a small refrigerator, which is frozen and there are buns from guests who don't know how long ago😔. There are simple porridge and side dishes for breakfast. , toast, coffee, black tea, soy milk, very simple. I walked to the busy road last night and found that many hot spring hotels are also good. I checked and the price is not more expensive than Hongguan. I will go elsewhere next time. The bed is neat and tidy. It's not a stand-alone room but it has moderate softness and hardness. The service staff is very good. On the day of check-in, they helped us upgrade to a four-person room (originally booked for three people). We had to make a reservation for the hot spring pool (family style), but we gave up after 9.10 o'clock.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is in the downtown area and next to the Tangweigou Hot Spring Park. There is a whole row of specialty shops opposite, which makes it very convenient to buy souvenirs. The room is not very big but the layout is pretty good. The bathroom in the room has a separate hot spring pool. Soaking in the hot spring is very healing. The most important thing is that the price is not expensive.
A great homestay experience. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. The French-style decor is very beautiful. The host and his wife are warm and hospitable, chatting and drinking with us. The croissant and tartar sauce made by the proprietress is so delicious. Will come again if there is a chance

The hotel gives a warm family feeling. On the day of check-in, two female employees greeted them kindly and politely. Another male employee explained the hotel's facilities, nearby attractions and recommended restaurants in detail, which made people feel comfortable, warm and courteous.
The hotel is clean, the stay is very comfortable, the TV has a lot of different channels, enough to choose, but the air conditioner is a bit big, but the overall two days of accommodation are very satisfactory .
The hotel is close to the Luodong Night Market, very convenient, and I see the rainbow after raining. I am very lucky!
I don’t know where the switch is, causing the lights in the room to be uncontrollable. Is it because it has been raining frequently in Suao recently and I feel that some parts of the mattress are wet. Fortunately, there are quilts to cover. Breakfast is just plain porridge, which is acceptable.

CCYY727The white moonlight in my mind, the environment, service, facilities, and experience are all first-class. The only thing to be explained in advance is that everything here needs to be booked in advance, from taking the bus to the hotel (one day in advance) to eating and playing any activities, you need to make an appointment in advance
The buffet is very rich in the morning and evening and is suitable for Asian stomachs, with many ********* specialties. If you don’t eat breakfast, you can choose to eat the set meal at noon, but you must make an appointment in advance.
The independent bathtub in the room is very comfortable, and I didn’t go to the public area.
The transportation connection is very convenient, 250 Taiwan dollars per person from Taipei to the hotel.

JJoyce pei peiWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa, where the accommodations and cuisine were exceptional. However, what left a lasting impression was the outstanding service provided by a young staff member featured in the video. He warmly welcomed us upon arrival and bid us farewell upon departure, showcasing genuine kindness and courtesy. His exceptional hospitality is truly commendable. We kindly request that you recognize his excellence with appropriate rewards. We look forward to seeing him promoted on our future visits.

AAhbearStayed 2 nights in this property over Typhoon Kong-Rey. Love the in-room hot spring, the one-time usage of minibar & the availability of water dispenser in every level. Location of hotel is also very strategic.
Thankful to the team for taking care of us during Typhoon Kong-Rey by offering umbrella, checking where we are going, advising us to be careful of the weather & also offering car rides to keep us safe.

BBenjo8The room we booked was a loft style room. The room itself is very compact , so there wasn’t any area to actually sit and relax sadly. The bathroom was very tight and the onsen itself wasn’t very big but sufficient. However, there is an open hot spring on the roof top. The swimming pool was good as well as was the good size jacuzzis which my toddler loved.
Breakfast had good selection. Dinner was very quiet and heard we were their first customers on their soft opening. The food was good overall. The location is good as it’s smack bang in the middle of town with lots of tourist wondering around. I think this hotel just lacks that extra thoughtful touch for their clients , eg. Robes, little welcome notes which some of the other 4 star hot spring hotels nearby do pay attention to. The walk wall to the room had a musky odour but the staff were curious and helpful, especially when next room were making noises up until late ! I would suggest a change of uniform for the stay because they all seem to wear a white work shirt and black trousers which is so eighties! Also, there is a middle age gentlemen I saw walking around all day and night, usually eating at the restaurant and sitting at the front lounge with his laptop working. I’m wondering if he’s the Manager/ GM, because if he is , I would suggest he smile a little because he did seem very grumpy and miserable . I could be wrong .

EEvaEverything is nice. The room is clean and cozy. The staff is helpful and efficient in assisting us to check in. The only downside is the hotspring inside the room. The hot pool design is a bit difficult for the elderly to get in.
EEuniceWBefore we arrived, I emailed the hotel to require assistance from hotel to check for private charter car service for YiLan and the staff was very responsive and helpful.
Upon arrival, front desk staff was a little cold (unlike what people mentioned in the reviews). We were swiftly checked in and could go up to the room.
Hotel lobby is very cosy and welcoming, but the rooms are starting to look a little old with moulding and wear and tear. Very large, spacious and clean room. If I'm not wrong, the water to fill up the tub is not hot spring water but just normal tap/shower water. If you're looking for a hotel with with hot spring water, do take note.
Location of the hotel is great though. We were very near Jiaoxi bus transfer station and managed to walk to our hotel within 5 mins. There are restaurants and fast food, bar, and a shopping area nearby. Jiaoxi hot spring night market (only open on Sundays) is 4mins drive away and Yilan train station was 10mins on foot.
Breakfast service was great! Staff were quick to clear and set up tables without making us feel like we were being chased out. They were also very sweet. On our 3rd morning, we needed to leave to rush for our bus to Taoyuan, we were holding our luggages and they directed us to store our luggages with the front desk first. They saw that we were in a rush and told us that we could let them know if we're would like to take along some snacks or drink to accompany us on our trip. They even bid us good bye.
Check out process was smooth with an aloof staff. Felt like he couldn't be bothered.

GGuest UserIt was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience! This hotel really checked all the boxes for a comfortable and family-friendly getaway.
The highlight for us was the tatami-style bed in the room. It’s low to the ground, which made it absolutely perfect for our toddler and 1-year-old. We didn’t have to worry about them rolling off the bed, and it even doubled as a safe, spacious play area during the day. The kids loved crawling and jumping around, and we parents could relax knowing they were safe.
The private hot spring in our room was the best part of the stay. After a long day of traveling and exploring, being able to soak in the hot spring was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding while the kids napped or played.
Orient Luxury Hotel in Jiaoxi is a fantastic choice for families, especially those with young kids. The tatami-style beds, private hot spring, and thoughtful service made our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Yilan, this is definitely a great option.
We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back for another visit!
The grandparents especially loved it—it was so convenient for them to enjoy the hot spring without having to leave the room. It really helped us recharge for the next day!
The breakfast buffet was great! There was a good mix of Western and local ********* dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes and fruit, while the grandparents appreciated the traditional congee and hot tea.

GGuest UserYu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point.
I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious.
Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison.
If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.
