Located very close to the Amazon theatre, Taj Mahal is a very old hotel, the room despite spacious and with good air conditioning, has problems in facilities such as cutting gardens, shelling floor, old and rough towels, Doubtful board ... but all this has already been expected because the value they collect is very low. it does not give to expect much more than that for this price.
The hotel offers decent rooms, but not anything special. Sort of the bare minimum for a 3-star hotel. However, NO ONE at the front desk or the bar or the restaurant spoke English. That's usually not a problem but when we checked out the next morning they had a restaurant charge that was not ours, and we had a miserable time trying to close out our bill. Ate at the restaurant but paid cash, so the charge was not ours. They also had a wrong name on the room. Don't know how it all got screwed up so bad but it was almost impossible for us to work it out without speaking Portuguese. Our other complaint was that we listened to a dog bark ALL night long. There were homes next door to the hotel, and even though we were on the 4th floor the dog was impossible to block out.

The hotel is iconic in the local area, you can see the infinite Amazon River scenery, you can see the beautiful river beach, the scenery is first class! Although not in the urban area, this area is an advanced area, you can walk to the beach next to the sunset! Hotel facilities are aging and old, but it does not affect, the price is OK! The breakfast is good, there is a hot food like Chinese soup rice, it is very appetizing! The travel agency on the first floor can report to the Amazon for a day trip, etc., which is cheaper than the Internet, and the shuttle boat is the hotel's own dock, which is very convenient! Amazon is a mysterious place, worth exploring!

Stayed at Casa dos Frades following a cruise on the Amazon. I arrived a day early for my reservation, but luckily, the hotel had vacancy for an additional night. I had booked what I understood to be a basic single room, but was given an enormous double room in the end. The whole house is beautiful too. A great and varied breakfast included in the price, which makes this place great value. Location right by the Amazon Theatre is very nice.
The location is excellent, 200 meters away from the big hotel next door Gao inn, the facade is a bit small, the equipment is just in the middle of the law, but it is rare that there is no washing powder smell of the Brazilian hotel, it is relatively clean, the quilt is washed and sealed. In this respect, I can score 65 points, but after adding the service of the restaurant, it really makes me very satisfied! The breakfast is full, although there are not many types, but there are some. A buffet of 15 Baht is also available! It’s a gospel to the little poor who I am too lazy to forage.
The Plaza Prestige Hotel Manaus is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Plaza Prestige Hotel Manaus offers a pleasant stay in Manaus for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is conveniently located a short 4km drive from Manaus Ponta Pelada. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Sao Sebastiao church, Port of Manaus and Praça Marijuana all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Manaus hotel provides parking on site.
Stayed for another night, the room and bed were small, no slippers and toothbrushes. But the overall cleanliness, breakfast is convenient, and you can basically walk around to the city attractions.
Good value small rooms perfectly good for 1 night. Clean and shower was fine. WiFi good and location near shopping malls. Disappointed as no free water and they charged Brl 10 for some water. Staff looked bored. Good location for restaurants and check in was smooth. Rooms feel like you are on a cruise as small with small window.

Excellent
GGuest UserWe stay at the Lider Hotel for 4 nights and it was an excellent accommodation, large rooms and bathrooms, good bed and provide room service every day. The furniture is old because it is a historic building, so we leave the room with the windows open to air, out of which the air conditioning well holds the heat of Manaus. The room has a table and a fridge that is great for dinners in the room. Breakfast contains some options for fruit, cakes, bread, cold, coffee and juices. The team is aware and very sympathetic. We'll be back.
The hotel is very good, but for our destination that was tourist would not indicate. As we wanted a pool hotel, for our group of 2 adults and 2 children was the best benefit cost, but it is far from the center and the transit of Manaus is harmful, I believe the value in Uber was not so higher, The hotel is a very good location for the hotel, but the travel time is a good location.
任任公子66The breakfast is rich and the location is good. Take Uber from the airport to the hotel for 19-25 reais, less than 20 reais to porto de manaus (pier/port), 8 reais to the Indian Museum, Amazon Botanical Garden is a bit far away, about 30 reais, yes The parking lot, environmental services are quasi-four-star, but the hotel entrance is not very angry.
I had a great experience in this hotel. The food was really nice, the personnel was attentive and the beds were clean. The quality of the wifi was so, so. It is not super close to the center but you can just take a taxi to get there.
The hotel is bad. Fourth, let's fish. Tiny bathroom. The reception service is deplorable. Everyone, without exception, is very unwilling to solve the problems they themselves create. I arrived to check in and when I arrived in the room there was no bath towel or floor. I asked reception and they simply told me that they couldn't do it because the hotel had closed, detail was 7pm. The most they could do was send an email to the department and give me the towel the next day. The next day I reinforced my request. Even so, the towel didn't come. In addition, sleeping one night with the air in my room ruined in Manaus. All employees did not make an effort to resolve the issues. They are not the least bit helpful. They aren't even capable of smiling and saying good morning. Escape from this hotel
IIgorFMonteiroThe hotel is very well located and is located in the central region of Manaus. I have a good structure and a good breakfast. I stayed for 02 days in the accommodation, but I reserved only 01 for Trip. The negative point is the first day, where there were two falls of energy during the morning, leaving the room without air conditioning. Manaus's heat is terrible and energy returned only a few hours later. The hotel's structure would make them a good generator.
GGuest UserI go to this hotel every year and I feel it is very suitable for business people. It is also convenient to take a taxi at the door. It is also close to the supermarket. It is safe to travel around. The breakfast is very rich and there are various desserts! That is, the rain forest over there will rain sooner or later! The restaurant in the hotel is also OK. The problem is that there are a lot of Chinese tourists who go after knowing it...you know...
TTessa BAfter the drought in the Amazon cut our 9 day camping tour short, we found Mural Living as a last minute accommodation for a shower, wi-fi, and air conditioning. Over the next few days, it became our home as we scrambled to find another tour operator. The hotel is centrally located, clean, and feels like home. We loved the hot showers, the quick service requests, all the kindness shown when communicating with me in my awful Portuguese, and the general low key vibe of the place. We ended up staying 3 nights, each morning coming down and asking to stay another night but keeping the same room. They so kindly obliged. I'm a huge fan of this hotel and whole-heartedly recommend it for others. It'll feel like a home away from home.
JJONO5K22Excellent value. The breakfast is the strongest point by far with a solid array of foods, drinks and nibbles. The room was a decent size with AC and TV. The water pressure was great and was of course hot. Soaps and towels provided, though there was no hairdryer. However, the room did contain a large fridge and full mirror. The only real negative is the WiFi. It basically doesn't work enough to load more than a Google page. The speed test showed between 3-6 megabytes per second throughout the hotel, so no online video calls I'm afraid. That said, for the price paid, one can't complain. The value is exceptional. Note that the fitness centre contains very old mostly broken equipment, though the pool looks nice enough.
