Hotel Astra has a very good location, right in the heart of Sarajevo. Old town, good food and museums are all in walking distance. Breakfast is good, there is plenty to choose from and the coffee tastes great. Our room was clean, had a balcony and we never experienced any noise from the busy street where the hotel is located. The staff is the best part of the hotel. Extremely helpfull, friendly and funny. We would definitely stay here again when we visit this beautiful city!

The hotel is very close to the ancient city and it is very convenient to see around. The service is very good and the attitude is very good. Breakfast is not very rich, but there are some, nutrition guarantee, absolutely full, the best is to eat fried bread, and ask the guests whether they need omelet every day, very considerate. I stayed for six days and gave me a free upgrade room, thank you very much!

I made a reservation at Boss Hotel. I needed accommodation for one night before heading back home, so I wanted to find a hotel close to the main old market. Additionally, I was keen on a hotel that provided free car parking, not due to cost concerns, but rather to ensure easy car accessibility as I prefer not to drive within the city. I decided on Boss Hotel with the expectation of complimentary parking. Upon my arrival at the hotel, the staff informed me about the available car parking options. However, visualizing the arrangements was a bit challenging, especially since I had a lot of luggage and was uncertain about the security of public parking. Finding the hotel's location proved to be a struggle, as it was situated in a hilly area. Despite this, my initial feelings of being overwhelmed were quickly replaced by a sense of comfort and belonging, thanks to the exceptionally supportive and responsive staff. Although the hotel's location required navigating some stairs from the city, which was a bit of a challenge for me due to my physical condition, the warm and welcoming ambiance made me feel right at home. Despite having stayed in over six different hotels during the past couple of weeks, the breakfast experience at Boss Hotel, with its views of old houses and charming narrow streets, stood out as a highlight. As for parking, I eventually learned that it was permissible to park in the public area nearby, and the parking was complimentary. Additionally, I was given the option to park at the hotel for a fee of 10 euros per day.
5 stars may seem generous given the amenities and facilities on offer. Yes, it's a bit dated but it's not the condition that warrants 5 stars. It is the staff on reception. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly friendly and helpful. The young man in particular (he's getting married soon) was wonderful and drove us to the station one morning. Plus the location is great; 5 minutes from the old town. I would recommend it highly.
Arrived approx 10:30am was met with a really friendly female at the reception… although we were early was informed as soon as one room became available we would be allowed to check in early… was given a room downstairs, room was bit tight, and toilet in this room was very tiny however because of the way we were greeted and the early checkin we ignored the fact that this was a small room… we had 4 rooms the others on the first floor were really nice plenty of space bigger bathrooms too.. Location is probably one of the best you can get for the price of the hotel. Literally 5 mins from the centre where there are plenty of restaurants night life etc… Breakfast was included and honestly could not complain Velna made breakfast for us and when I needed anything different at breakfast she would go out of her way and accommodate of possible.. she use to clean our rooms daily too really friendly went above and beyond if and when required… Female at reception again exceptional service, explained everything thoroughly and really welcoming her name was Amna she was one of those gems who I know had an issue risen she would go out of her way to sort out… one example one of the rooms had faulty air conditioning, once we told her she made sure the issue was sorted as she couldn’t get the air conditioner fixed she got another room cleaned despite it being late and give us another room. Thankyou Amna We went with a group of 8 lads and 100% we would go back again…. Finally met one of the owners of the hotel Arman had a brew with him any major issues speak to Arman or Amna recommend this hotel to all. But try and get rooms on 1st floor as larger bathrooms.

Hotel Divan has a very good location in the old town. The biggest disadvantage is linked to that - a very noisy tram line passes it all day. We chose a room in the basement and the backyard side, where it was ok. The room was comfortable and furnished in a nice style. Air conditioning worked well. There were a fridge and a safe in the room. As the hotel is rather small, there was no breakfast buffet but some options served to the table. Anyway, it was good. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us good advice about the city. One disadvantage was that they didn't accept cards.
The central location of Sarajevo's old town is in all directions. You can go out to play and walk every day. The Latin Bridge, the mosque, the shopping street, and the church are all within easy reach. The hotel breakfast is also very good. The restaurant is very beautiful. The room provides disposable slippers and a hot water bottle. A ten-minute walk to Huangbao can get the sunset view of Sarajevo, and you can also pass through the war martyr's graveyard.

Outstanding
Right in the heart of the Old Town, this hotel has great views and really motivated staff. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they are very knowledge on the whole town so ask away! Bathroom was a little small but very, very clean. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. Great sleep.
GGuest UserPresidential is an understatement for this superior, modern hotel in the heart of Sarajevo’s attractions, restaurants and pedestrian streets. Our Overseas Adventure Travel tour group was assigned to this hotel. The tour company could not have made a better selection. The room I occupied overlooked the river and the base of a mountain range. The room is beyond spectacular, especially considering less expensive rooms are generally assigned to tour groups. The bathroom features an entire glass wall with curtains to close for privacy. But why? Many of the rooms overlook a busy street and the river. Besides, who’d want to look at a 71-year-old geezer shaving?☺ Windows are insulated blocking cold and street noise. The room is spacious, clean, modern, and has all creature comforts. But beware of the minibar prices. There are small grocers nearby that sell wine for about 6 euros. Buffet breakfast was included for tour group members, so I don’t know if there’s a separate charge for other guests. The hotel staff are amazing and courteous. If only Orlando area hotels could learn from Hotel President Sarajevo.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in the perfect location, scenic views all round and near restaurants, shops etc. It is walking distance to old town and a lot of the sights, like the cable car, the wooden fountain, historical mosques, city hall, eternal flame, museums, markets, etc. Take a short walk up to Yellow Fortress near the hotel for some breathtaking views! The hotel is super clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to make your experience even better! The room itself was huge, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was fantastic, you’re given toiletries and tea, coffee etc. Used the sauna which is free and you book sessions with the reception staff. Breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty, buffet style with a variety of juices and coffees/teas, ate so much! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again when I visit Sarajevo and Bosnia again, loved it! Thank you :-)
DDljiangThere are very few reviews, just because it is close to the old city and can park a car, I booked it blindly. I couldn't find it on the navigation system, and it was difficult to park on the hilly road. I came down to find someone and walked around for a long time before I found the house number. The iron door was tightly closed. After ringing the doorbell for a long time, a father and son came out and confirmed the order with us in a daze. , and at the same time kept telling us ”no problem, no problem”, and then picked up our car and parked it in the garage in his yard. In fact, the navigation guide is at the back door of his house. It is very convenient to go out to the old city from the back door. The smiles and enthusiasm of the father and son calmed our anxiety. We settled down with peace of mind and used the kitchen they provided to cook Chinese food. We were quite satisfied.
涵涵子子子Location: It is in the pedestrian street of the old city, the location is particularly good, you can walk to any place in the ancient city you think of in 3 minutes, 200 meters from the corner of Latin Bridge, 250 meters from the fountain, and the mosque is visible to the naked eye. Next to the downstairs is a bistro and a Chinese restaurant, and there are many Internet celebrity restaurants nearby.
Hotel service: Objectively speaking, the hotel is very cost-effective, and it feels better than the express hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The heating and hot water are especially sufficient in winter. The hotel has breakfast every day, which is very punctual.
It should be emphasized that all the service staff in the hotel are super nice! ! ! Especially the blonde aunt at the front desk, she really smiles every day, and she cares about where you go and try to help everything you want. ❤️
GGuest UserThe cleaning lady did not change the bathroom towels but rather just put the dirty ones from the floor back on the hook. We found exactly 12 cockroaches, and when we confronted the manager about them, he said (in broken English) ”They are not your business.” The lockers could not lock, so all of our belongings were practically exposed for possible theft. The bars on the beds are falling off possibly on the guests. The door handles were also falling off leaving us locked outside of our room and therefore having to go inside through the balcony windows. The bathrooms were dirty and so was the kitchen. The cleaning lady framed us for breaking 3 glasses, throwing up on the floor and sticking chewing gums to the heaters, meanwhile she was doing makeup during her shift. They wanted us to pay around 70KM for that. In addition, they accused us for smoking in the rooms whilst in fact we did not even have cigarettes in the whole hostel. The manager kept stalking us from his balcony during most of the night. All in all, it was a pretty kafkesque experience.
