Clean, cosy budget room. There's a pub onsite so it's convenient for meals. 2 min walk to bus stop and 10 min bus ride to nearby Glen Waverley hub with a massive shopping mall, train station, numerous eateries.
Great apartment, helpful and friendly staff, everything you could need for your stay. Having full laundry facilities is a real bonus in the apartment, spacious too, as well as pet friendly. Highly recommended.
Really good for the money. I usually stay in budget places because I'm trying to save money. This is really nice compared to some of the other places I've stayed for the same money. It is a little tired, but the bathroom was recently renovated and it was clean and nice furnishings etc.
My tariff included breakfast which was a buffet of cereal, toast and a few cooked things (bacon, mushrooms, sausages, eggs etc). My only negative that it is on the corner of two busy roads so there is always traffic noise. It is close to a small shopping centre, and I had dinner at a nice persian restaurant across the road so those are all positives. There was parking when I arrived but it was quite full the next morning so I'm not sure whether it would ever be difficult to park.

There is a tram 75 to the Melbourne CBD near the hotel. The train station is far from the hotel and it takes 30 minutes to walk. There is a large supermarket near the hotel and shopping is very convenient. There is a parking lot. No breakfast, good health, very quiet, good service.
Well priced motel. Although its a bit dated, the room was large with a desk, kitchenette and 2 single beds. Quiet enough , although its sits just off a main road but didn't hear much noise. The bonus Cafe next door at the gym is excellent and run by someone who knows what they are doing. It opens at 6am for breakfast. All meals are excellent and cheap enough
Because this was the only hotel within walking distance from my friend's house, we stayed for a total of 4 nights and booked a 2+1+1 deal. Before checking in on the first day, the room fee and a deposit of 100 Australian dollars were charged to my credit card. On the fourth day, I went to the front desk to renew the room card (I couldn't open the door without renewing it). The front desk already knew that this was a prepaid order and asked if the payment would be deducted from the original credit card (I changed the name of the booker on the fourth night but didn't change the room and noted ”extend stay” in the order). I thought that after the prepaid order, the hotel might have to charge a deposit again because the name of the booker had changed, so I replied ”yes”. As a result, not long after, the front desk deducted 157 Australian dollars from the credit card again. I returned to the hotel in the evening and called the front desk. The front desk said it might be the deposit and asked me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I checked out very early the next day and the front desk was not at work. I negotiated with the hotel through text messages. The hotel said that I booked the room twice, once at the front desk and then again on Ctrip two hours later. They were so shameless. I booked the room on Ctrip one night in advance, but I didn't go to the front desk to renew the room card until after 9 o'clock the next day. After the communication failed, I had to contact Ctrip. If the negotiation with Ctrip failed, I would post a complaint on the hotel's official website. After repeated communication with Ctrip, the hotel agreed to refund the money, saying it was a ”communication misunderstanding”. I suggest that compatriots should check their credit card information more often when they go out, and safeguard their legal rights and interests in a timely and resolute manner, so that the chickens and dogs of T can't hide.
There are no slippers, you need to prepare them yourself. The location is very good, the surrounding restaurants are convenient, the layout of the room is unreasonable, and the location of the socket for charging is not convenient. The price/performance ratio is not very high. The location is better than the price.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, the train station is a few steps away, the parking is also very convenient, and there is direct access to the elevator.
When checking in, it was difficult to find the office.
The old gentleman who checked in was thoughtful and explained in detail.
There is no air conditioner in the bedroom, and the bedding is only blankets. However, after communicating with Ctrip, and accompanied by the old gentleman, I found a heater and more blankets in the room cabinet, and the problem of heating the room and bathing was solved.
The two bedroom apartment did not have a wifi signal in the master bedroom, hope it can be improved.
Overall, the stay experience is not bad.
The room is clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is very good, the transportation is convenient, and supermarkets, hotels, banks, shopping centers, travel agencies, clinics, etc. are all within a few minutes' walk. Suggestion: The quilt cover is not the quilt cover that Chinese people are familiar with. It is similar to the quilt sandwiched between two sheets. It takes some time to get used to it.
It was my first time, staying at this hotel Reading the positive reviews I had read online, no doubt I was all excited about what the hotel has to offer.
I am amazed by the cleanliness, awesome view and great customer service
As my flight was due to land in the early morning, I had written to the hotel management to request for an early check-in.
It is worth a recommendation cos there are Asian restaurant and eateries nearby which is about 8 mins' walk away.
It is quite convenient if you wanna take the Metro train to the city. It is actually so close to the hotel.
I am sure I would like to book a room with IBIS Melbourne Glen Waverly if I should travel again. Might consider to upgrade it.
Thank you very much, guys! 💯👍👏👏👏
