Best Randwick Hotels

My recent stay at the St. Mark Randwick Hotel was truly delightful. The hotel exudes charm and offers a cozy and comfortable retreat. The size of the room was okay, but there was no elevator. My room was at the very back and there were several turns. It was a bit scary for the first time. My suitcase was heavy and it was difficult for a girl to move up to the second floor. The location of the hotel is good. Coles, chemist warehouse and L2 light rail are nearby and can easily reach the city.

I've stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks. The hotel provided very kindly and excellent services. Although the room was small, but it was clean and quiet. The equipments and facilities provided were more than enough. It is much appreciate to recommend people to come and stay here. Thank you.

The hotel is not in the CBD and is very quiet. There is a garden in front of the hotel and the air is very good. There is a bus stop next to it, making travel convenient. The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and considerate. The hotel has a classic style. There is a microwave and tableware in the hotel, so you can make some simple meals.

Australian hotels do not come with disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as slippers and shower caps, but have shampoos and shower gels. Overall clean

The main advantage of this place is its location. It's a five mins walk to Randwick light rail station. Randwick light rail station is the last stop also. The place is right opposite to two hospitals. As a foreign tourist, I find this place safe, quiet, and easy to access by light rail transport. Coles and Woolworth's supermarkets are ten minute walk from this place. A good location if your children are studying at UNSW as it is one rail stop to UNSW High Street. You can also walk to UNSW from Randwick light rail station (15 mins walk). Please note there are no lifts in this place. Hence you will need to carry your own check-in luggage. There are no bell boys to do this. The kitchen is shared and so is the laundry. You will need to use three one-dollar coins for the washing machine and three one-dollar coins for the dryer. You may need to use the dryer twice hence you will need to spend A$6 on drying your dress. The reception will help you with changing your notes to coins. You need to use your own washing powder and fabric softener. There are lots of eateries around this place including KFC, Oporto, manoosh pizza, and MacDonald to name a few. Rooms are cleaned only once a week. You will need to help yourself with fresh towels that are placed in the common area. For someone from Singapore like myself, this is a very odd culture for a Hotel. Parking is pain and this place doesn't provide one. It will cost you A$ 50 per day for an over night parking. Wilson Parking is close by at Ritz cinema if you want to park your rent a car. I guess that's how it is here in Sydney. Overall a good place to stay and the location is the best part of this stay.

The first time I stayed, I feel very comfortable, the service is very attentive, and I can cook in the public kitchen, which is great!

Hotel location is very good, next to Coles and various restaurants, L2 Randwick Terminal is also nearby. Coogee Beach in the hotel is very close, you can take the bus three stops. The room is quite spacious, there is a washing machine (Haier), there is a shelf and balcony for drying clothes, which is more spacious. The only downside is that the hotel facilities are old, the bathroom is small, and the bathing place can hardly be turned.

The hotel is very near the Light Rail Stop in Randwick, just across a traffic junction, which is very convenient for us to travel to the city. The place is clean, bed comfortable, but the bathroom sink is too small. We needed to climb a flight of stairs to access our room.

Das Alison Randwick liegt sehr zentral im Ortsteil Randwick gelegen und ist gut mit dem Bus oder der Straßenbahn erreichbar. Vom Innenstadt-Zentrum ist dies schon etwas weiter entfernt, dafür aber auch relativ nah an den Stränden. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und modern ausgestattet. Es war für uns bisher das sauberste Gemeinschaftsbad, das wir je hatten. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, aber sehr gemütlich. Es gibt eine Küche, die man jederzeit nutzen kann, sowie einen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Für uns war es eine sehr schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt und wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.
