Check in was quick and easy with a welcome drink for each of us so that was a good start. Plenty of signages in carpark to direct u to the drop hotel lift lobby within carpark but car had to be parked somewhere else. Room was comfy and there's a stool provided in the shower (good for old pple). We booked a room with 2 double beds meant for 4 pax but found the double bed to be a little small.
Bfast was a little disappointment as we expected the full buffet but you can only order hot food from a menu and the buffet portion was only for the pastries, cereals and cold food. However, food was yummy. Price was worth it for the stay.

Location was great! Short 10min drive to frementle. Many supermarkets and eateries in the vicinity too. Room was no frills but sufficient for us, just that the freezer wasn't cold enough. We also appreciate the simple breakfast prepared by the staff. Had a great stay all in all :)

The hotel has changed name to Wray Hotel and check in was thru the restaurant downstairs. Parking is available and free. Did not realized the hotel is with shared bathrooms and toilets. Nevertheless, we just stay a night as a stopover before going up North. Bearable for a night stay.

This hotel is not suitable for business travelers. It is an apartment-style self-service hotel. There is no restaurant. You need to go out to eat or buy food in the supermarket opposite. The front desk is small and there are few service staff. No one is available outside office hours. If you arrive at the hotel on a late flight and you do not hear English, you will not be able to get the cipher key for the check-in, nor will you be able to figure out which one of the multiple doors to enter. Do sanitation once every three days, usually clean up the garbage by yourself, and there is a large garbage can at the door. The room attendant is very nice and will teach you to use the oven and other facilities in the room. Suitable for a family holiday, do not mind cooking and cooking for yourself, staying longer, you can consider. The room is full of cooking utensils, laundry and drying facilities, suitable for housewives to show their skills! !!

I had a lovely stay at The Local Hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had plans to spend a night on Rottnest Island before checking in for two nights at the hotel, and they kindly allowed us to store our luggage a day early. It was such a big favor and made our trip much more convenient. When we arrived, our luggage was already in our room, which was a nice touch.
The room itself was stylish and modern. We opted for a corner room, which had three large windows, filling the space with natural light. The lighting in the room was also well done, creating a pleasant ambiance.
Although the toilet and bathroom were shared, and there was some noise from the bar's music, the overall experience was enjoyable. These minor inconveniences were overshadowed by the positive aspects of our stay.
Overall, I think The Local Hotel as a lovely place to stay. We had a nice experience.

Overall service was great. The room was nice, clean and comfy. Staff were very friendly. Breakfasts were delicious, though the hotel accidentally charged us for then when they were supposed to be included in the package. We would have been charged if we didn’t notice the error in the bill. Otherwise, our stay was excellent and we would highly recommend the hotel!

Very nice and clean hostel. The beds are comfortable and staying in a 6bed female room was just perfect for me. The hostel also organised a bbq night, quiz night, yoga, movie night and so on, which was great and easy to meet new people! The location is perfect too and Fremantle just a very nice area of Perth with nice beaches, good public transportation to the city center and a many cute coffee shops.
Can only recommend :)

This is a bouquet hotel, not very fancy but with all the essentials you need. Room is cozy and clean.
Just to remind everyone that the address of the hotel is #30, not #32. I was struggling to check in #32 on the night until I found it was actually #30 on that street.
Front desk staff was friendly and accommodated me a late check out.
Worth the money paid.
