Best Box Hill Hotels

This hotel must be highly recommended, the room is super big! ! The toilet alone is probably the size of a room in the city. The room is big enough to have a party. There are pots and pans in the room that you can use to fire up at home. There is also a washing machine that comes with laundry detergent, which is super considerate. Unfortunately, there is no gym and it is not far from Box Hill. It’s only about a 3-minute walk and is worth the experience (unfortunately, there is no gym)

Stairs! My room had stairs to the bedroom area! GREAT. Loved it. Apparently Aussies don’t like stairs! Lazy bu**ers!;) Being English, I loved them. Thanks for a VERY comfy stay. Came with a jacuzzi to boot. You’ll need a car though.

Very nice location, I felt like it was very good pricing. They do make up the room every other day, so just need to be prepared for that. Pretty good amenities. The lack of an established pick up/drop off point will be a little awkward. But otherwise I like the place.

Our family comprising 4 adults + 1 toddler and 1 infant stayed 3 nites in a 2 bedroom apartment. A baby cot was provided as per our request. Apartment was fully furnished with fully equipped kitchen plus washer/dryer machine. And so we’re able to cook meals and do laundry. BoxHill Central Shopping Mall is just next door and there are plenty of eateries around the hotel. The hotel is about 45 mins drive from Melbourne airport. There wasn’t any more parking available for us so we’d to park along the road and at the train station under the shopping mall (free parking). Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

The hotel offers great service, with friendly and helpful staff. The facilities are simple but well-maintained, including clean, spacious rooms and a comfortable lounge area. There is also a shopping center available for daily needs. While breakfast is not offered, the hotel’s location near a shopping center and a supermarket makes it easy to find meals and essentials nearby

Close to the Box Hill Chinese area and the station, there are a variety of dining options, it is also very convenient to go to the city and suburbs. More convenient is the laundry dryer and kitchen utensils, suitable for friends who like to travel freely.

I am Chinese. I have stayed at this hotel many times. The first time I feel it is acceptable. Now I feel worse and worse, but the location is better. The service can only be improved. There is no hot water in the bath, and the air conditioner is noisy. There is no spare pillow in the room, the sofa collapses, just the TV can meet the requirements. Such a room should not be offered to customers. I only stayed for one night so I didn't pursue other things. I won't stay at this hotel again.

The location of the service aparement is excellent. Also the receptionists are super helpful and nice. Whenever we need help, they will provide assistance immediately.

I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.
