Short trip to the Christmas market to Innsbruck. We liked the connection of the hotel to the public transportation. All 15 minutes by bus to the center. The hotel welcomes its guests with very friendly staff, clean rooms and beautiful atmosphere. Wi-Fi and parking outside the hotel are free. Breakfast does not open wishes. Go to come back.

A very good experience, very convenient when registering for accommodation; the waiter is very friendly and has a feeling of being at home. Unfortunately, I had to leave early this time and didn't have breakfast. Next to it is a big supermarket!

The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! Not far from the city center, there is a small church on the edge of the hotel, listening to the bells of the church feels very comfortable. There is a parking lot, suitable for self-driving tour. Good breakfast, suitable for children, I booked a family room, a double bed, a sofa bed, toilet and toilet are independent.

Bathroom: Clean with a very good shower. Slippers: Not provided Bathrobe: Not provided Soaps/Cosmetics: Provided Hairdryer: Not provided Unpleasant smells: I did not smell any. Soundproofing: Average WIFI: Free of charge in the room as well in the hotel. Connection speed was slow and quite stable. I did not have any problem to connect all my devices. TV: Large flat TV with also international channels Air conditioning/heating system: Did not understand how air conditioning was working, temperature was not 100% comfortable. Wardrobe: Open, enough for 2-3 days trip. Mini-bar: not available. Key/Card: Key card working well, no problem opening the door and even to keep it same pockets of mobile FACILITIES OF MY INTEREST Parking: Hotel does provide this service but I did not use it. Shuttle to Airport service: Hotel does not provide this service. Gym/SPA: Not present. BREAKFAST: from 6:30 to 9:30 am, not a wide range of products but all is necessary for a basic breakfast was present and quality was fine. I would rate 7/10 for a 3 stars hotel. Located on the outskirts of Innsbruck the hostel is relatively easy to get to. From the central station you just walk around the corner and catch the number 3 tram (heading for Amras). After a few stops you get off at `Pilippine-welser strabe’ and then walk for about ten minutes. Incidentally, if your flight is a morning one, don’t turn up at the hostel in the hope of an early check-in as there is no receptionist until 14.00. So unless you want to sit outside and twiddle your thumbs you would be better off placing your bags in one of the rail station lockers and having a look around the city. Our room was small and basic (no television etc.) and our allocated bathroom was across the corridor. But it was all high spec and, in keeping with the rest of the hostel, spotlessly clean. The receptionists were polite, knowledgeable and helpful (don’t forget to ask for your welcome card which gives you free travel on the trams and buses within the city). Breakfast was more than sufficient to keep us going for most of the day, although some might feel that the choice on offer a bit limited. Should we ever return to Innsbruck we’d be happy to stay at the Marmota again.

I stayed at Hotel Binders for six nights. It is very centrally located and can be easily reached by tram. Very friendly and helpful staff at check-in. My single room on the second floor was very nice and modern. A very spacious bathroom rounded everything off. The breakfast buffet was great. From freshly squeezed orange juice, great coffee, Austrian bread specialties, good selection of cheese and sausage, as well as the possibility of an English. Breakfast were given. Fresh fruit salad and a variety of yoghurts and muesli complemented the selection - it was the perfect start to the day. I will definitely recommend Binders :-)

From start to finish this hotel was excellent. The check in prior to arrival saved loads of time. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our whole visit. The room was lovely and roomy enough for 2 people. The bathroom was spotless. The shower was great with a choice of shower heads. Tea and coffee making equipment was available. The safe was FOC. Beds were made daily and the room was kept very clean. We needed a hairdryer and this was brought to us immediately. The only thing I could say about the room was it was a bit hot and with the window open was a bit noisy as it backed on to the main road - but we didn’t find it too much of a problem. The hotel supplied complimentary team passes for the duration of our stay which was great as the tram stop was just outside the hotel. Although we didn’t use the spa area this looked fab and was very new, clean and the views were to die for. The breakfasts were lovely with loads to choose from. Omelettes, eggs and other hot food was cooked fresh. If I went to Innsbruck again I would definitely stay in this hotel.
