Went here at Palace Hotel Cipanas with my husband & 2 children for our short escape on the weekend. We choose the TownHouse type of room to accomodate 4 of us which has 2 bed room & 2 bathroom. It was located quite a distance from the lobby so they offered us a free buggy service everytime we want to go to-from the town house. We love the location because it was secluded. But there are several things that need to be improve. 1.As reviewed by other traveller, that there are no towel provided in the room. It was the first I noticed, so before the bellboy gone I asked him to bring the towel for us. They took a long time just to bring 4 towel (for me it took more than 40min) 2.The Cleanliness, the table in the dining room looked dirty just like someone just used it so I cleaned it with tissue wipes. And the toaster was so gross (rusty & full of dirt, i even didnt want to open it) 3. We had problem with the housekeeping because someone came by in the morning & told that they would clean the room at 12. We said OK. But until 2pm no one came to clean up and we called many times until 3.10pm the housekeeping finally came. Despite all of it, the hotel has a good wifi, the fridge, hot water, air con were working properly.

I’m so surprised with the hospitality from each division of the hotel. They are very humbled and have a quick respon to all my request especially when I said that I brought parents. Very well mannered The only thing that I really hate the most is the location and of course it goes to the traffic I literally need 24 hours from the hotel to Jakarta due to the super stuck traffic, I know it’s a long holiday but I think they need to figure better way to avoid this situation, and hopefully they can fix it in the near future Overall, I love it! It was my first time staying at Grand Aston Puncak... and as such was my first experience at the lobby hotel. I was very impressed with the layout and decor of the lobby .... it was one of the best lobby i have been over the years. I was also very impressed with the view of the mountain, quality of the food served during breakfast, tea time and dinner. But what impressed me the most was the service level of the staff such as Reza/Duty Manager, Azis/Bellman, at the restaurant Boni, Nevi and Bobby, also Ilham and Mr. Agung/Security for the impeccable service and warm hospitality accorded to me when I was staying. Overall stay is amazing…keep it works.

Recommendation for Puncak Hotel, it has been renovated, the facilities are good, the new face of Novus is really cool, let's book on the trip, prices can be discounted

The room is decent but the towel is a bit smelly, not that clean. The corridor's carpet too old so the look is dirty, need replacement. The breakfast is very indonesian although they also provide bread. The bread quite dry and they offer margarine instead of butter, chocolate sprinkles and unknown spread. The fruit is very limited. The parking lot is too small to accomodate all guests' vehicles. The last day of my stay there were 2 big buses parked in that small parking lot. I could not sleep well as the noise from the vehicles pass by. This is inevitable as they also admit it. But the hospitality is very nice.

This is a mature tourist area, there are many hotels, the competition is fierce, and life is very convenient. It's a slow pace here, and the restaurant outside closes early in the evening. This hotel is very affordable at this price, the room is big, the air is very good, the view here is also very beautiful, there are two mountains nearby. The hotel's free breakfast, although not many types, but full of fried rice, eggs and coffee. There are not many guests in the hotel, the small garden grass is very good, and the drone flew by the way. You have to drive by yourself here, and the main road has to drive several slopes to go up. The slopes in Indonesia look so steep, narrow and steep.

We had an absolutely excellent stay at The Tangko Resort Inn. We are bird watchers and before our stay had communicated with Rei at the Tangko Resort and had agreed a “package” for accommodation, all food, transport from Jakarta to the hotel, transport onwards to Carita and then from Carita back to Jakarta. The package also included being taken on the back of motorcycles driven by the hotel’s staff to Gunung Gede NP very early each morning and picking us up late in the day. Rei was nothing short of meticulous in his planning and preparation and everything worked out exceptionally well. Our room was clean, spacious with two queen beds, hot water and a nice balcony/terrace. We had a different Chef and Chef’s assistant in the morning from the evening and both teams produced an amazing quality and quantity of food. Breakfast was often at 4.30am and had 4 to 5 courses and the Chef prepared what can only be described as “Gourmet Packed Lunches”. The evening Chef delighted us with his inspiring dishes. We did not have a menu to choose from, we simply allowed the Chef to cook whatever he felt we would like, after asking us a few questions each day. Each night we were treated to many courses of superb quality food, which was a highlight of our whole trip to Java and Sumatra. All of the staff were unfailingly helpful despite our needing breakfast and transport very early each morning. We stayed mid-week and were the only guests and were looked after expertly. A bonus was a Javan Kingfisher photographed in the garden. A special thank you to Rei who went above and beyond to help us. We highly recommend The Tangko Inn Resort and wish that we could find places of a similar standard in our trips around the world.
