As always, the hotel rooms in the United States are quite large. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not have breakfast on Sundays and Mondays. I chose Bubble Bee for breakfast, which was not bad. It was my first time to experience Goetta in Cincinnati.

Room was OK though carpet crunched when I walked due to whatever lining they put under it when they redid it. Biggest issue was I was facing the 5/3 bank courtyard, which had a concert until 9:30pm and then started back up with activities at 5am! It was very loud - hard to sleep. Door on bathroom is frosted glass, one of my pet peeves because you wake up whoever is in the room with you (though this time it wasn’t an issue since I was alone). Toilet paper was 1-ply. There is no water bottle filling machine!! Come on Marriott - you need water filling machines on EVERY floor but at least one per hotel! Room service was decent and the lounge was pretty good as far as breakfast goes. Staff was super nice and friendly if not always very knowledgeable. Valet worked efficiently.

Catherine went above and beyond to secure a room an extra night for us during a very busy weekend so that we did not have to move while there. We were very grateful. And because I mentioned McCormick & Schmick’s at check in we were given a free appetizer certificate - score!!

Very nice! Quiet room, didn’t hear hallway or nearby room noise. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. Tons of things to do within walking distance. Our valet Jacob was fantastic!
