Popular Christchurch 4-star Hotels

This little hotel is very modern and a nice place. We booked a private double room. The only complaint I can think of is that at 9 o'clock in the morning, when we were still trying to sleep in, the cleaners came in to clean the room! It would be nice to have a Do Not Disturb sign or have a cleaner knock on the door before entering. The location of the hotel is great, only a 5-minute walk from Memorial Bridge and restart mall. When you truly understand this city and then visit it, you will find how strong the emotional color of the whole city is. This hotel is perfect as a base.

The room was very quiet, the airport and the hotel's previous connection service was too convenient, the 9th door called the hotel, basically 5 minutes to the car! When you arrive at the airport, you will arrive at the front desk ten minutes in advance, which is very convenient and transfer the gospel.

I expect more from this chain of hotels! It’s the worst hotel we have stayed in especially in Christchurch. 3 Nights in an Executive Room on the 10th floor at a price of $800 + not even including breakfast! I really wished I’d stayed where we normally stay at the Novotel opposite which was $719 for 3 nights including breakfast!! So, what was wrong with this place, well here goes; 1) Restaurant open till 9pm but they switch the coffee machine off at 8.20pm!!!! 2) Caffeittere in the room but no coffee bag to put in it twice in a row missed off. Reception do not have access to these bags so none available. 3) The bed has numerous colourful pillows on which matched the bed spread we took off on the first night and folded it up and left on the floor it remained there for 3 days!!!! 4) The bed was not made at all! All they did was pull the duvet over and straighten the pillows. When you pull the covers off the bottom sheet had not been straightened at all! 4/5 star hotel apparently with 2 star service! Never again will we stay here !

Hotel location is very good, 500 meters away from the right hand coundown supermarket and Huacheng, Sanshang, Dahua, Chinese supermarket. Eating lone star is not expensive. 2.5 km from the left hand is the park. The room is fully equipped and the proprietress is very good. recommend

Very good hotel, the location is very good, the boss is very easygoing, enthusiastic, parking is also convenient.

Spacious and bright, clean and tidy

We arrived on midnight flight and selected Gold Band taxi to motel as recommended by manager in order to receive 10% discount. Cost from airport to motel over $20 – not sure if or where discount was applied there. The room was a little disappointing, smaller than anticipated and large cobweb hanging from ceiling in kitchen, right in the middle of passageway. We were kept awake the rest of the night and next morning by a bright outside light shining in from the motels next door, but mostly due to excessive traffic noise. Trucks and cars obviously using Roydvale Ave as major thoroughfare from around 4am onwards. Manager was very good however and took us to airport the next day in the shuttle free of charge, so please don’t be put off staying there. Maybe just take earplugs and sleeping mask!

Sadly we stayed here for a single night on the wettest day in December - that limited things a bit. However, the apartment was wonderful for our family of four. Large, clean, nicely decorated. Basically next door to some lovely restaurants and cafes. The beach is only a few minutes walk. We plan to come back here and try for some sun in Sumner next time.
