Hotels in Guanyinqiao/ 9 Street, Chongqing

The workers were really nice and accommodating, however, the first room we had, there were two old blood stains on the bedsheets and the tables were not cleaned as there were noodle soup spilled on it. They then offered us a room change which was really nice. However the new room we got were still not cleaned as there were rubbish on the ground and unflushed toilet (toilet paper and hair). But overall the hotel is in the good location and the staff treat you very nicely. They take care of all your laundries and they have a translator app on their phone if you don’t speak Chinese.

When traveling with my parents, I always dread them being uncomfortable at the hotel. This place, however, was a complete lifesaver! A staff member, Xiao He, noticed my parents were elderly and thoughtfully arranged a quieter room for us. The room's facilities were perfectly suited for seniors, and even the bed height was just right. Seeing my parents so happy and comfortable made me, as their child, incredibly relieved. We'll definitely be staying here again!

We were kindly offered a free room upgrade, which was a lovely gesture. However, we declined because our room had a large bathtub (big enough for two) with a stunning city view, whereas the upgraded rooms had smaller tubs. The rooms are exceptionally beautiful—modern, clean, and stylish. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The only downside is that there’s just one washing machine for the entire hotel, which is a bit limited for a hotel of this size and standard. Overall, we had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

located at the 16th floor of a building. from airport take line 3 change to line 10 and get out from guangyinqiao station exit 3. toward uniqlo shop area to (bai yue xin building 百业兴大厦). the receptionist is friendly, fast check in and check out. room is spacious, clean as well as the wash room. bring your own amenities. day time will be noisy from the street as the window can't close tightly. surrounding with shops and restaurants. few tourist spots nearby.

Although the hotel is not new the room is nevertheless clean, big, comfortable and smoke free; bedroom slippers is thick & nice; Xiao Xiao checked us in & is friendly, courteous & helpful. Take the underground tunnel to cross the road instead of taking the overhead bridge because of luggages. Lots of eatery but mostly catered to the local palate. 10mins walk to North railway station North Square - ideal for taking train to Wulong Karst and other cities. Hongya  cave- over-hyped; smell damp not well ventilated; at the same side of the cave take the overhead bridge; walk the boardwalk against the traffic flow 10mins to get to Kuixing lou(魁星楼 ). You will see Atour hotel (see picture Arrowed), etc then go into the building and take the lift up to 22nd floor to see the touted difference in height of the surrounding buildings. Walk past the pavilion to the subway to get to Jiefangbei at Exit 1. Visit Eling park (鹅岭公园 ) and climb seven storeys to have an aerial view of Chongqing and the 2 rivers

Stayed with a family of 5 adults, within walking distance to Xiaoshiqi metro station. The hotel staff even contacted us via trip.com on the day of check in to confirm our estimated time of arrival which was very reassuring. We were given complimentary voucher for drinks (coffee/tea/soda) and desserts upon arrival. That was so unexpected 😄 It was a good welcome gift after travelling from chengdu. The lobby at level 15 was at a very strategic location. It has a nice view of the qiansimen bridge with chongqing's nightscape. We could also watch the drone show from the lobby, tho it was from the reversed side. The hotel is also just right across the street from the back of hongyadong. The curtains can also automatically open and close. The switches are touch screened. The toilet has a mild smell but otherwise, tolerable. All in all, highly recommended!

We stayed at Xiyada River View Hotel (Chongqing Guanyinqiao Beibin Road Branch) and were quite satisfied with our experience overall. The hotel has a very convenient location — the metro station is just a short walk away, which made getting around Chongqing easy and efficient. The building is tall (49 floors), but thankfully there are plenty of elevators, so waiting time was minimal. Before our arrival, the hotel contacted us in advance to inform us that there was ongoing renovation work in the building, which might cause some noise, and also let us know that the hot water runs through a heater — so we would need to wait about 30 minutes between showers. We really appreciated the proactive communication. Our room was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, one disappointment was that we had booked a river view room through the app, but upon check-in, we were told that the reserved room didn’t include a river view after all. Unfortunately, our limited Chinese wasn’t enough to understand the full explanation. The service was great — the staff were helpful and polite. All communication was done through WeChat, as the staff do not speak English, but they tried their best to assist us. The hotel itself looks new and well maintained. Overall, considering the price and quality, this hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, well-located place to stay in Chongqing.

Choosing this hotel was such a smart decision! The room was cool and comfortable, and the powerful air conditioning meant we weren't bothered by the heat at all. The location is superb, just a 10-minute walk to Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The hotel service was very attentive; the front desk staff proactively recommended local delicacies and snacks, and even gave us a small gift. The water temperature in the room was perfect. Chongqing summers are scorching, but this hotel ensured we stayed cool and worry-free. I will definitely stay here again next time!

Room was very new and clean, and the front desk staff was extremely helpful and polite. Location is convenient only a few minutes walk to metro station and within walking distance to Guanyinqiao pedestrian street. They also upgraded us to a bigger room too. 总的来说体验很赞！

The front desk was really helpful in every way. Whatever issues you have, they would try their best to resolve it for you. Most definitely going back to this hotel to stay when I visit Chongqing again.
