Chongqing Shapingba District Hotels

We had a fantastic time at Huafang Hotel. Located right in the midst of old city attractions, and convenient for metro travel too. Beautiful facilities, infinity pool with a great view, spacious and well-appointed rooms. Exceeded expectations! The staff were fantastic. They went above and beyond to help us with receiving packages, with our heavy luggage, and with answering questions. Thank you Xiao Tan and Xiao Xiong! The only minor challenge is the main road does not come up to the front of the hotel. But the hotel staff were there to greet us at the road and carry our luggage up to the entrance.

The room was very clean, the environment was nice and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel entrance is very convenient, and you can even watch the pigeons. There was also a complimentary fruit plate and snacks. We strolled around the ancient street in the afternoon and evening, and the air was nice even after the rain. I highly recommend this hotel.

Tower 5 block B of the shopping mall above shapingba railway. Mall is huge and long, walking from one end to another takes 15 mins? So as the unit at tower 5 of block b, its at the edge of the mall. Tower 1 houses many hotels and is in the centre of the mall instead. Consider those if walking long distances is a nono for y'all The apartment is a unit in a shared building. So lifts can be a wait during peak hours. No issues with the apartment. Clean, big, and has a washer dryer combo.

I just finished a few days of Chongqing. I like Chongqing's history, Chongqing food, and Chongqing people. I didn't expect that the experience of staying in a hotel I chose at random would be so great. From the moment I checked in, I received meticulous care from the hotel staff. The hotel is conveniently located, has a wide variety of breakfasts, and meticulous room service. The weather has been good recently, so it's a great choice to go anywhere. The hotel facilities are also very complete and the breakfast category is very rich. I recommend it!

As a long-time IHG member, Holiday Inn Express has always been my preferred choice for extended business trips. This particular hotel is quite decent, but my only complaint is that the large TV cannot be used for screen mirroring. Due to the way the mounting bracket is installed – it's too low, likely for aesthetic reasons – there's no space to plug in an HDMI cable to connect a laptop. I even consulted the hotel electrician, but they couldn't resolve the issue. This really impacts the entertainment options for guests on longer stays. Couldn't the hotel simply install an HDMI extension cable? A half-meter cable only costs a few dollars. I suggest that every TV should come equipped with an HDMI extension cable to meet guests' business screen-mirroring needs.

The room was stylish and very luxurious. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. we will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Chongqing. The room was impeccably clean; I felt perfectly comfortable walking barefoot on the floor. What I loved most were the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. As dusk settled, I could brew a cup of complimentary freshly ground coffee, sit by the window, and take in the dazzling panoramic night view of Chongqing. It was incredibly therapeutic! The breakfast spread was simply spectacular, with everything from local Chongqing noodles to Western pastries, and every dish tasted incredibly authentic. The attention to detail in service was impeccable, and it offered fantastic value for money. Absolutely the perfect choice for a stay in Chongqing!

The check-in experience was very good, it was very close to the subway entrance. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and attentive, and explained all the check-in precautions. Check-in for the examination is relatively close to Sichuan International Studies University. It takes 9 minutes to take a taxi to the examination room (there are many uphill slopes) (you have to leave early, otherwise there will be traffic jams on the way up the mountain), and it takes 25 minutes to walk back to the hotel after leaving the examination room (there are many downhill slopes, especially traffic jams). The room is clean and tidy. You can check in early if the room is not in short supply. Because you are a Ctrip member, you can check out later. The breakfast variety is also very complete, including fried dumplings, noodles and noodles. Recommended to stay~

The hotel is in a great location. The subway line 9, line 1 and the ring line are very convenient downstairs. It can go directly to the airport. There is also a Shapingba high-speed railway station next to it. There are also many bus stops underground at the high-speed railway station. (Turn left from subway exit 7 and then right to the entrance with Building 2 to go to the 29th floor. It is very close, but people who just arrived need to find the direction.) The service is very friendly. It is spacious enough to stay in a twin room (2 1.5-meter beds) with 2 big and small children! The room facilities are advanced, the smart toilet is very comfortable, and the bath water is flush enough~ The cleaning is very attentive every day. The breakfast is enough for the trip. There are small noodles to eat and there is a laundry room. Chongqing is worth a visit, and this hotel is recommended!

After a long trip from Guangzhou 广州 to Chongqing 重庆, decided to stay at this hotel because it's near Chongqingxi Station. It's walkable distance, around 5-7 minutes from the station. Room is nice, pretty quiet. I got a direct view to the train tracks so I can see trains come and go, and the noise is not too disturbing! I can sleep pretty well. The hotel do, fortunately, provide ear plugs to help reduce the noise, but I did not use it. They have a laundry room at 2nd floor and restaurant at 1st floor. Breakfast buffet is really good! Plenty of variety from western to chinese.
