Ein Urlaub ganz anders als auf den meisten griechischen Inseln, fast so wie in den 70er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts, nur komfortabler als damals, als ich mit dem Rucksack unterwegs war. Chios hat keine Bettenburgen und mit all inclusive-Hotels verbaute Küsten, sondern setzt auf Tradition und Nachhaltigkeit. Die Unterkunft ist ein liebevoll instandgesetztes herrschaftliches Anwesen aus der Genueserzeit inmitten eines Orangenhains, mit funktionsfähiger Tiefbrunnenbewässerung. Der Chef macht regelmäßig Führungen auf Griechisch und Englisch für seine Gäste oder externe Interessenten wie Schulklassen. Klimaanlage, Safe, Fernsehen, begehbare Dusche, gute Matratzen im Zimmer, morgens ein erstklassiges Frühstücksbüffet. Das Frühstück kann man auf der Terrasse zu sich nehmen, der Tag ist gelungen! Gerne hilft der Wirt auch mit Tipps zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten im Kambos und auf der ganzen Insel, den besten Restaurants und schönsten Stränden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, herzlichen Dank!!!

Beautiful and welcoming place to stay
Wonderful location with a very friendly staff. The grounds and building are historic and beautiful. The owner helped us get to know the island better and even gave us recommended road trips to explore the island. I highly recommend staying here.

Sakız adası için çok güzel bir butik otel, narenciye bahçeleri içinde tam bir çevre dostu işletme. İki sorun var ; 6 numaralı alt kat odaya üst kattan çok fazla sifon , su boşaltma sesi geliyor, kesinlikle yalıtım gerekiyor ; ikincisi keyfe keder hava alanına yakın olduğu için üçak seslerini yadırgamamalı

The hotel is at a great location with the trees all around. It was lovely. The room was good and breakfast was great. I will choose here if I would visit chios again.

What a magnificent place to stay at Chios. With a big orange garden a traditional mansion. Great hospitality by the owner. They love and respect their island. Greek hospitality atbits best ! Congrats !

Wonderful hotel in Kampos, in the premises of an old mansion (Riziko) perfectly preserved and renovated. Magnificent orchard with various citrus trees around the yard with the cistern and the well with the traditional maggano; perfect for breakfast or a relaxing evening drink. Easy access from the main roads (GPS helps). Excellent, spacious, comfortable air-conditioned rooms, great ambience. Small fridge, espresso machine, electric kettle. Big bathroom. Everything impeccably clean. Very nice breakfast. We especially enjoyed the home made tangerine and rose petals marmalades. Free parking space in the premises; free wi-fi (good speed) The owner of the hotel, Manolis Neos, is the kindest, most hospitable person, who knows everything about the history of the island and eagerly offers tips for places to visit, restaurants, activities you may enjoy and everything. Anda as well, always present, kind and caring. We sincerely thank them both. We hope we will be able to come again in the future. It's worth the price. We definitely recommend it.

Ένα υπέροχα διατηρημένο παλιό πετρόκτιστο αρχοντικό στον Κάμπο Χίου μέσα σε έναν οπωρώνα με μανταρινιές και λεμονιές. Το δωμάτιο δροσερό και άνετο προσφέρει ότι ακριβώς χρειάζεται κάποιος για να περάσει μερικές αξέχαστες μέρες στο φιλόξενο νησί της Χίου. Λίγο απαιτητικό στην πρόσβαση, ειδικότερα για κάποιον που δεν γνωρίζει τίποτε από το νησί και βασίζεται μόνο στο GPS για να φτάσει, καθώς υπάρχει κίνδυνος να μπλέξει μέσα σε έναν λαβύρινθο από στενά μεταξύ πανύψηλων τοίχων όπου με το ζόρι χωράνε δύο αυτοκίνητα να περάσουν. Ο προορισμός όμως θα αποζημιώσει τον επισκέπτη καθώς θα τον μεταφέρει σε ένα περιβάλλον ηρεμίας και μεγαλείου των παλιών αρχοντικών της Χίου. Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου ευγενικό και πολύ εξυπηρετικό σε ότι χρειαστείτε.
