Very disappointed, room basic and quite grim, needs updating. No hairdryer in room and only found in the hallway after leaving my room. Just very basic. Staff very friendly and food ok but skipped breakfast as everything had to be pre ordered nothing buffet I could grab n go to get on road sadly.

Only stayed a night but it was OK for what it was, where it was and price charged. Unfortuneatly the beds were only marginally confortable, although the rest of the room was fine. The Breakfast had been cooked long before the time we agreed to be there, and consequently was somewhat dried up. Equally, the Breakfast timeframe of finishing at 09.00 far too early, 09.30 should have been a minimum, and as it is in a holiday area 10.00 would have been more sensible. In all other respects it was value for money and good enough, although to be honest there are many other establishments in the area, and I would try others first if I were to stay around there again.

Couldnt rate this lovely little jem high enough for a top Sunday Carvery! Plenty of choice and the meats cooked to perfection! And all for the price of £12 for an adult portion of meat then of course, have as many yummy fresh veggies as you like! Roast Potatoes were AMAZING!!!!! Pub has a lovely back garden area with the front area being a rather accommodating carpark. Be advised that it is best to book a table on a Sunday as it can get very busy. Very easy to use online app to do this if you cant phone. Well done the Woolpack, might have to be our regular Sunday thing! Lovely family run pub.... look out for the music festival in July also! We've been a few times!

The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas, especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities. The staff were very helpful and the guest breakfast area very nice and friendly. If travelling again to a nearby area I would stay again if the prices remain competitive and standards maintained. The only "fly in the ointment " was the frequent "door slamming" of fellow guests in the early morning--but that is not the fault of the managers. Thanks.

Hidden gem! As we arrived at the Woolpack, we saw they have ample parking. The room was basic, but very clean, the bed very noisy but extremely comfy. Superb selection of towels, with soap shampoo and body lotion provided. The shower is small but superb. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and would do anything to help. The food was excellent. A very very good selection and arrived piping hot and delicious! The gravy was unbelievable andI wish I could but some to take home, it was so good. There is a fridge provided for guests use ans an iced water machine. The WiFi was also very good with no problems. Fresh flowers everywhere and in the lovely beer garden was a children’s play area the looked excellent. Very close to Chichester centre, so a good location. For a reasonable price, it was excellent.

Book a one night stay here, Although check in wasn't until 2, We got to the pub at 12, the young girl we dealt with at the bar/reception was helpful and friendly,we had a drink and had a light lunch, I had a sandwich and my wife had a prawn cocktail, both were delicious, Went to our room around 2, it was a nice size, clean, nice comfy bed and there was plenty of tea and coffee, The one small criticism would be no dressing table with a mirror for my wife to do her hair/makeup, Went back in the pub later for more drinks and also dinner, which again was delicious, the pub itself was really nice and the staff were freindly. The hotel and the food in the pub were great value for money, We will definitely stay here again,

Booked this for after a day out to Petworth House because we didn't want to drive home in the dark, and we were very pleasantly surprised by what we got for our money. The accommodation is in a separate purpose-built area in the grounds, and our room was at the end - facing the main road but beautifully quiet. There were so many lovely touches, not least the fresh flowers on the window sill and an inscription on the side of the wardrobe telling us about the person after whom the room was named. There was a kettle, mugs and plentiful tea, coffee and milk, and a drinking water machine in the foyer area if we wanted water. Someone had unplugged the radiator so it was a tad chilly when we arrived, so we plugged it in and after more than a little head scratching we managed to set the timer and thereafter were lovely and snug. A comfy bed and well-stocked bathroom added to our pleasure. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food - both the carvery on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday - was excellent.
