A historic hotel with accessible prices if you get a discounted offer. It’s a shame they don’t offer breakfast but the location makes up for it, right on the magnificent mile. Our room was confortable but the A/C unit was too noisy.

Very clean. I had breakfast included but got charged extra. I had to point it out to the reception staff, and they fixed it.

The service attitude at the front desk was extremely poor. We had confirmed a day in advance that we could check in a little earlier, but when we arrived, we were made to wait in the lobby for more than an hour. After checking out, I called and complained, and the result was nothing. I always chose the Peninsula when I came to Chicago, and there is a high probability that I will not choose this hotel again in the future.

The room is large, with a simple kitchenette, a large refrigerator, a microwave, an induction cooker, a dishwasher, and all kinds of kitchenware are available, which is very convenient. The location is super good, downstairs is the world's largest Starbucks with a long queue every day, and it feels very safe. I will choose this hotel again next time.

I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here again if I come to this city again.Thank you.Sincerely yours a guest.

Liked the location with easy access to river north Chicago’s hot places. Price is reasonable. facilities are old and food is below average.

My family and I arrived around 330AM on a Friday night/Saturday morning. Service: 4/5 The Night staff was awesome, hospitality was IMPECCABLE! From the receptionist , bellhop helper, security, you name it! I wish I could remember their names but the receptionist was a young African American male about early-mid 20s! The morning crew and afternoon crew need some pointers from the night shift staff because they need some work. Rooms: 3/5 Our room had 2 full size beds, they were nice and spacious for all 4 of us (3 adults & 1 child). No microwave was an inconvenience but it wasn’t too big of a deal since our short was stay. Overall I would rate our stay a 4/5 (Would have been 3.5/5 had it not been for the service we experienced when checking in.

I was in this hotel for a conference so my need is quite minimal. Generally speaking the hotel is in a great location that is easily accessible. The room itself is fairly simple , I think for this price though the service should be a little better. My room has couple of occasion that the tea and coffee wasn’t top up after cleaning and soap as well. The bathtub is a bit stained but it is cleaned. Wifi - there were multiple times that it was a bit slow . If I have to rank based on the price as well I would say above average

The location is very good, close to the gorgeous mile, 5 minutes walk from Mies designed Lakeside Building. Surrounded by high-end communities, parking buildings can be booked, good security in the area, no insecurity at 21:00 night. Good attitude at the front desk and good service. The room is compact and the space is reasonable, with separate living room, bedroom, cloakroom, bathroom. It is very practical to bring a mini sink bar. Overall praise, worth staying!

Best experience you could possibly have at a hotel. From the staff to the room. Delightful.
