This hotel certainly shows its age, with décor that harks back to the styles of the 1960s or 70s—a true blast from the past. For travelers who value ambiance and modern aesthetics, this might not be the ideal pick. On the plus side, you do get two complimentary bottles of water. However, the room I stayed in was quite noisy—situated right next to the subway, and the air conditioner roared like an engine.

It was an old hotel, so it felt a little scary when I first opened the door and went in, but the location of the hotel is really good. Everything was perfect except that I had to wait a little bit for hot water.

Stayed here for a week for a conference. The location is very good, close to Hilton, Art Museum, Millennium Park, etc. There is also a convenience store within a 20-minute walk where you can buy products. It is right on the main road and the security is relatively safe. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but considering the price-performance ratio it is acceptable. The attitude of the front desk staff varies from person to person. Some ignore you and just chat, while others are very enthusiastic. After staying for a week, the hotel only gave me two bottles of mineral water. I had to go out and buy water myself, which was a bit troublesome.
