The hotel is a self-catering apartment with good hygiene conditions. There is a clear check-in guide after downloading the App, and there is free luggage storage.

Very nice apartment but small things a bit boring: definitely automatic check in where the registration is very detailed and slow and if you don't read the emails they send carefully you waste a lot of time. The bathroom drain is not perfect and gets clogged. The apartment curtains do not cover completely and therefore light early in the morning. Shower with lukewarm water and not hot (the first time, the second everything was perfect). Bed and pillows too soft for my habits.
For the rest, very nice apartment

I’m sorry this place was bad. We wanted a good spot like this. Through our 4 day stay the elevator did not work. Four floors up the stairs which were quite dirty and steep. As older people it made a difference in our experience. The room was weird-walls were scrapped up, rug was a stringy mess. I think this place is really more like a bad apartment or youth hostel. It’s really not any kind of hotel, let alone e a Marriott.

I would absolutely not use this hotel as they canceled my reservation three hours before check-in. This is not the kind of news you want to get when you are boarding your flight and expect lodging to be confirmed, especially when you call that morning and they confirm that your reservation is complete and paid in full. Disappointing and absolute horrible business practices, especially for a Marriott Bonvoy hotel.

Bis auf das Warten ob die Codes der Sonder-App wirklich rechtzeitig kommen war alles prima. Wir hatten ein Appartement mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern, großzügigem Wohnraum und Küchenzeile. Zusätzlich gab es Waschmaschine und Trockner, beides typische einfache USA-Versionen aber dafür selbsterklärend. Möblierung ist praktisch, etwas schlicht und Wandschmuck wäre nicht verkehrt. Unser Appartement lag in einer Hausecke, hatte große bodentiefe Fensterfronten und bot einen sehr schönen Ausblick. Aufgrund der sehr guten Klimaanlage und der kleveren Rolloss war die Raumtemperatur bei bis zu 35° Aussentemperatur angenehm einstellbar. Stadtzentrum und Sehenswürdigkeiten waren fussläufig erreichbar, unweit vom Quartier gab es mehrere empfehlenswerte Restaurants und 2 Supermärkte. Letztere sind wichtig wenn man kein Auto hat.

Fantastic. Great accommodation in a lovely neighbourhood. Felt very safe. The 2 bed apartment was massive. Everything you need. Our 5 day stay included a weekend, and it was quiet. The only noise really came from (at times) the air con in the bedrooms. The apartment was just over a 5 minute walk to Roosevelt station and 2 stops from downtown. Plenty of buses from one block away. A CTA card for buses and the L trains was $5 daily or $20 for a week unlimited. A fantastic (and massive)supermarket, Jewel Osco was near to the station. Reasonable prices. There is no front desk at the property - contactable only through the Sonder app or on the phone or sms. Didn't have to use this. Entry system - you will be sent a code for the front door. There are lockers to store luggage - including 3 large ones which will each take ake 2 big suitcases and more. Your different room code won't work until 4pm. This Sonder (and they're part of Marriott) in Chicago was wonderful - everything (on a previous part of our trip) the Sonder in Detroit wasn't, Amazing it's the same brand/company, but such different experiences.
