Virgin Hotels Chicago

Everything about our stay at Virgin Chicago was excellent. Service, location, breakfast, room, cocktails. Helpful and friendly reception. We particularly loved our pre-dinner drinks on the rooftop bar. Views spectacular, great drinks and staff wonderful, especially Marcus.

I went to the rooftop bar, Cerise, for a company happy hour. I really wanted a specific drink and Amber kept making it for me (with a smile) sooo friendly and made the best drinks! My friends kept asking what I had ordered and I told them to go see Amber :-) she was such a treat and I really appreciated her above and beyond service. It made the night even better!

We had an amazing time!!! DeAndre was amazing! He had so many helpful tips. And the lounge on the roof was incredible as well as the restaurant

First time travel to Chicago has been made memorable thanks to our lovely stay at Virgin Hotel. Centrally located by the river and easy to get to almost anywhere. Upon heavily researching online for the perfect stay for my birthday vacation I decided on this hotel. We were graciously greeted upon our arrival by Mia at the front desk and De’andre helped us with our belongings to our hotel room on the 22nd floor. They surprised me with a delicious slice of chocolate cake and a bottle of bubbly along with a few snacks. The room is impeccable- stunning views of the city buildings and the river. We opted for a king size river walk view room (does not disappoint). The room is very large and comfortable. The double vanity has made getting ready an ease. The walk in shower is perfect and the private toilet with a door makes doing your business comfortable. The AC was a major decision maker for choosing our hotel and it was ice cold. I requested if they could overdrive the AC motion sensor to keep it continuously going which they were so kind to do for us. Half of our stay Chicago was going through a hot spell so the AC was a lifesaver! Everything about our stay has been made to feel so special. Hospitality is amazing, Darryl and Latisa J. helped us out with our key cards after accidentally losing one on the street while walking around. We also ate at Miss Ricky’s for dinner, let me say it was absolutely delicious. We ordered from their happy menu- pepperoni pizza, Cesar salad and feta whipped carrots. All of it was delicious but those carrots were so tasty! We ordered room service twice during our stay which arrived fairly quick each time. Food was great but they may have skipped past our written request for cream and sugar for our coffees and vanilla flavor for the cappuccino. We also had a package delivered while on vacation which they securely kept for us. Asking for anything has been a breeze. The hotel room has been spectacular. Comfortable bed, black out curtains, updated tech (you can control the tv, AC temp, order room service all from the app on your phone). They also have a button at the door, red for DND and green for housekeeping. It’s honestly been such a great hotel and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making my birthday stay so wonderful! I hope to get to visit Chicago again sometime on the future.

Amazing hotel location, rooftop views and service. This was optimal for our short stay as it provided us fast access to all tourist attractions and blue line straight to the airport. Convenient, luxurious, comfortable and remarkable stay.
