The location of this hotel is absolutely terrific—convenient, central, and within walking distance to everything I needed. It made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable. However, I was very disappointed to find a large (approximately 2-inch) cockroach in the bathroom. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this really impacted my overall impression of the stay. If the hotel improves its pest control and cleanliness standards, it could be a great place to stay given its prime location. Until then, I’d be hesitant to return.

I am just in awe. I could say so much. I’ve never had any special requests before at a hotel. I decided because I was celebrating my birthday, I’d make some requests like a good view, and maybe some hotel recommendations etc. We valet parked, which was something we’ve never done, so I loved that experience. We arrived at the front desk and instantly the front desk said Happy Birthday and read off all my requests and how they were met and offered us free drink cards. First impressions are important and they hit it out of the ball park. We walked to our room feeling important, when we opened the door, I was astonished. Wine, and a birthday treat on the table. Again something I have never experienced. We booked the OMNI specifically for the location of Harry Potter Store. Anyway I digress. We arrived later in the evening so we didn’t want to explore at night having never stayed in downtown Chicago so we decided to go to the 676 Restaurant and WOW 🤩 small menu but the food was made with love! The waitress was an absolute rockstar. She was so sweet when I told her I was sober, I didn’t realize how many mocktail options there were. I take note how attentive service is, and how personal a waitress or waiter is because it can make or break an experience. She even joked with us, we had good laughs. The next morning we went down for breakfast and it was busy, but we wasn’t so busy that we were concerned but the was transparent and provided us a cinnamon roll on them. It was one of the best cinnamon rolls we’ve ever had. It was a proper roll. Can you tell I’m a foodie!? Lol ANYWAY the experience was so good, it was worth every dollar. We will be back. Not to mention my partner proposed to me while we were there 💍😍

The attentive and friendly staff made us feel very special. The only thing that would have been more enjoyable is a hotel bar in order for friends and family to hang and stay in the building. Overall though, it was great! We will definitely be coming back!

Overall great experience at the Omni. Went with our 2 boys (5 and 2) and the corner suite worked out really well for what we needed. Highly recommend as it is walkable to most options. In and out for valet was nice albeit wonky with needing to download an app and charges not being super clear.

I stayed here for three nights. First night I was in a suite on the 7th floor overlooking Michigan Ave and it was too noisy. I was moved to a upgraded suite on 22nd floor at the back of the hotel which was superb - large and quiet! I loved the suite so much that I chose to dine in on one evening - just so could enjoy it! There were 2 TVs - one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The only let-down was the bathroom, which was not as cutting edge as I would have expected. The american style baths are always too short to enjoy a proper bath wallow. The location is great, within easy walking distance to many of the main attractions, or to a bus-stop to take you to the museum area about 2.5 miles away. Its located between 2 metro/train stops which give an easy and cheap way of getting to/from the airport. There are many restaurants nearby to the hotel covering a range of price points. The hotel restaurant is OK and has a range of food and a reasonable wine list, but didn't have the WOW factor for me. Overall, a very comfortable hotel, with a small roof terrace by the pool.

Omni Chicago Hotel is located in one of the most famous North Michigan Avenue, downtown Chicago. The competition to be the best here is mouthwatering as all top brands are here. But Omni, uncommon as the name may sound, won’t disappoint you. Had great time in my suite spoilt of amenities. My advise, if you’re visiting Chicago, and want value for your money, and want to change from the more ordinary brands such as InterContinental, Hyatt, Courtyard, Marriott, try Omni and you won’t be disappointed I attest.

We stayed at the Omni to celebrate our anniversary....we made one simple mention of our anniversary at check in, and they moved us to the top floor for the best view, and we had chocolate cake with fruit and a card waiting for us! The room was superb! Exactly what was expected from looking at the pictures! We ate breakfast at the restaurant, 676 I believe it was called? The food and the service was magnificent! The staff always greeted us with friendly hello's, and it seemed they truly were "at our service" The trip ended with wonderful valet service! We called down ahead, as we were told to do, for the "quickest" service, we waited less than 5 minutes for our car, and, we were each given a bottle of Evian for our wait! A++++!!

The Omni Chicago is a very nice hotel. The only problem is that there are a lot of very nice hotels in Chicago. We booked a corner room, and it was nice. It had a window above the headboard of the bead, which was kind of neat. The room was small, but omni was upfront about that by telling you the sq ft on their websitie(I think 400sqft). It is called a suite, but it is no bigger than most other hotel rooms. What makes it a suite is just that instead of leaving it as one normal size room, they have made it into 2 separate small rooms separated by french doors. It does have 2 TVs, but the one in the bedroom is a rather small tube tv. We requested an upper floor twice, but only received the 11th, I think the hotel has 25 or more floors. We did not notice any areas of concern in cleanliness. The bed was decent. The fitness room was large and had a lot of equipment. The hotel does have a small pool. Having a pool is more rare than you might expect in downtown Chicago. The hot tub was broken when we were there, but the pool was warm. The hotel has 24 hour room service, which did come in handy for us. The location is great if you want to do shopping, but it's not the best area for nightlife. We paid 249 for a corner suite that included parking and $50 in breakfast food credit. That price put it at the upper end of hotels in it's class for these dates. The rooms don't seal very well from the hall. Noise and conversation can be heard in your room, though, overall the halls were quiet. Bottom Line. There are a lot of nice hotels in Chicago, this is one of them. If you choose Omni you'll surely be satisfied.

Nice rooms. Excellent service. If you're looking for great shopping or dining, then you can't beat the location. Service was outstanding. The rooms were small suites. I wish I had extended my stay. Definitely worth the price.
