The hotel recommended by the school, Westin is still quite convincing. The hotel has a good location and is convenient around. I booked a king-size bed suite. The room is relatively large, clean and sanitary. The service is also very enthusiastic. Overall, I am quite satisfied.

If I could give it 10 stars I would! I can’t even put into words how amazing the staff is! Every single person from the time you walked in the door were happy, accommodating ,engaging, and all went above and beyond to make mine and my family's first visit to Chicago that much more memorable. I went to a conference that included 1 night stay. The hotel looked well maintained, and the towels were in good condition (a good indicator of the quality of the hotel, in my opinion). The food was below expectations. The view from the conference rooms is amazing. Directly to the river!

Front desk staff member wasn't very clear with communication, or very friendly at that. Didn't seem willing to help with any special requests, or to direct me to the right people. We also weren't informed that the special credit we received with our stay had to have been used almost immediately for us to take advantage of. Room service was lackluster, and was delivered in to go containers, and they even forgot one of the meals ordered. The price of this hotel for a one night stay was definitely not worth it. Pretty disappointed.

My family and I chose The Westin River North to celebrate our milestones birthdays. It is the perfect location with fantastic views and near to attractions. The service given by Kwasi on the Club Floor was awesome, giving us a warm welcome each time and taking us to the usual table and being available to assist us in every way. Zoe in the Sales Department is truly phenomenal helping us to organize this carefree getaway. This is a great choice for staying in Chicago. Can't wait to return.

There are a lot of options in Chicago and I was impressed by members of the staff that went above and beyond. The man running the valet and the woman running the executive concierge lounge were incredible and made the stay even better. Amazing beds and the rooms are fine. Walking distance to everything.

I had lost my only card on the way to Chicago from Minnesota, and I only had cash on me. I find it completely irresponsible of a business to turn down $1200 cash and I would have given more for deposit. Its also so unfortunate that your team or company would t have empathy on a family that traveled 9 hours and lost their cc along the way. I will not be going back. I am so angry!
