The Neighborhood Hotel Lincoln Park

Overall, a great place to stay, especially if you are looking for easy access (walking, public transportation) and the familiarities of home living. We were there for 1 week which made the stay, with a full kitchen and separate spaces, easy for the family. A few watch-outs: there is no place to put your luggage if you arrive before check-in. And, although the neighborhood guide with recommendations was helpful, I never received a reminder about some basic logistics/duration of the stay. It is definitely NOT a hotel and really more of an Airbnb-style I did not appreciate that fully when booking.

We were very happy with our stay in our 2 bed 2 bath unit. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms included all the amenities needed. Surprised by the ample storage! Having a kitchen for quick breakfasts and snacks plus the washer/dryer made our stay really enjoyable. The location was perfect for our 5-day stay. It was easy to get around by bus or Ubers. Highly recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Unit 401. We’re there for almost a week. Management was very responsive, they answered my questions within an hour. The unit has modern decor but kept the antique medallions and fireplace which made it more unique and interesting. The furniture and bed were comfortable. We mostly ate out or ordered takeout during our stay so we didn’t do any cooking. However, we did use the drawer microwave to heat up leftovers and dishwasher to clean dirty dishes. Based on the amenities provided in our unit, I can tell management has put a lot of thought to make their guests feel at home. We’d just stayed at a “nice” Airbnb in WI before going to Chicago. The Airbnb host there provided minimal amenities in comparison to what were being provided at this hotel. There was no need for us to shop for basic items in Chicago like we did in WI. We found dish washing and dishwasher detergent under the kitchen sink. There’s clothes detergent above the clothes washer and dryer. The hotel also provided a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and hand soap in the bathroom. There’re extra toilet paper besides Kleenex, and paper towels. The clothes steamer was quite useful. I’m sure I didn’t list all the amenities provided by this hotel here. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. It isn’t an issue unless someone has mobility issue. We plan to stay at this hotel again the next time we visit Chicago.

We had the best time at The Neighborhood Hotel - Lincoln Park for a sister trip! The location was absolutely perfect—walkable to Wrigleyville and surrounded by so many fun things to do. We spent a full day exploring Lincoln Park, visiting the zoo, the conservatory, and the nature museum, all just a short walk away. There were great spots for food, coffee, and drinks literally a minute from the front door. One night we stayed in with takeout and a movie, and it felt so cozy and relaxing—like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable place in a vibrant Chicago neighborhood. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome place. Feels like a home and very comfortable. Plenty of room with 4 people. The kitchen and two full bathrooms made the trip even more enjoyable. Great place.
