Friendly staff, great location, room lighting was dismal (a few yellow bulb lights vs. white) and work area was small.

Overall, this was a nice stay in a clean and very central hotel. However, there were two downsides to our room that are worth noting. The bed was quite stiff and the bedding and pillows were pretty uncomfortable and lacking in quality. Also, our "view" from the window looked out at the rooftop of another building and its operational equipment. I did try asking for a new room but was told that there were not rooms in the hotel with views as the hotel is situated in between higher-rise buildings. These problems were a little disappointing given the price I paid for a "Deluxe King Room" at a 4-star hotel.

In the United States, if you don't stay in a luxury hotel, you must stay in a designer hotel like this one. The price is more favorable and they are relatively new. Hotels like Hilton and Marriott are usually old and expensive. Emily booked an executive room. The room was large and clean, and the toiletries she used were all from Malin Gouzi.

Pro: great location for dining and shopping, beds were comfortable- pillows too, safe in room, coffee bar was hopping. All employees were friendly. Cons: bare bones for price paid- a lot of plywood, double beds (not queen), banging of hvac system early in the morning.

Had a great stay at the Emily hotel! The location was perfect and we felt incredibly safe here. The hotel was clean and the staff was beyond friendly.
