It is located within 10 minutes walk from Chiayi Station, super convenient. It is also located near the night market and shop houses with the local delicacies/souvenirs. A downside would be that we saw bed bugs on the mattresses. Nevertheless, the service was still relatively great, they weren’t able to change our room as it was fully booked but they came to change the bedsheets.

Great location. Friendly and helpful service from counter staffs, served vegetarian buffet style for breakfast. Less than 5mins, you find supermarket, convenience stores, and popular Chiayi snack & souvenir store-T.KFood LaoYang. Walk 8mins to reach nearest Wenhua Night market which has every popular food in Chiayi.

Staff are friendly and allow me to keep my luggage in advance. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Room itself was a bit old, but great location.

The location is very convenient! It is very convenient to go to the train station, famous shops, and night markets! It is within walking distance! The hotel provides free bicycles! Also, if you arrive early, you can store your luggage! The hotel also provides a piano! Free breakfast! Although the hotel looks old inside, the room is very spacious! There is also a big bathtub 🛁! Family Mart is opposite the hotel, which is very convenient!I like hotel Free breakfast , very local style .

Convenient location for Wenhua night market and Chiayi TRA station (for bus to Alishan)

Train station and night market within walking distance. No free toothbrush and shower cap.

Good location but slightly run down hotel. Need to uplift overall hotel conditions especially hotel room and walkway to the room. Receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Quality of breakfast require to improve such as served warm food rather than cold dishes. Lastly I went for toast to avoid disappointment. Not really suitable for international tourists.

Within walking distance to train station. Breakfast choices is limited and same food every day.

Highly recommend great value for money. If you’re considering booking no reason to look anywhere else in Chiayi. The Japanese style bathtub was a very nice touch. It’s all very nice and clean. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

Nice location. Room is clean and quiet. Just not sure why we got 2 single bed, it's probably mistake from us when booking the place.

Overnight stay before my trip to Alishan. Good hotel beside the bus station and the front staff very friendly. Breakfast spread good

The staff are SUPER nice and friendly. My family and i felt very welcomed here. They allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and gave tips on where to go. The room (we booked for 3 of us) was decent and had amenities like disposable toothbrush toothpaste, comb, soaps, shampoo and shaver. There was a hairdryer that was really weak 😂 but enough hangers for us to put up our clothes and a tv with a couple of channels. We stayed on level 7 (accessible by lift) which was quiet, didn't hear the road outside at all, other tourists were also quiet and people were respectful. Breakfast was included in our stay, a relatively decent meal, there were toasts with different spreads, chinese noodles, veggies, meat, plain buns and porridge. Coffee, orange juice and chrysanthemum tea. Fruits were watermelon and oranges. Highlight of our stay was a 7.4magnitude earthquake while we were having breakfast. The whole place was shaking and staff were alert and quick to guide everyone out of the restaurant. One male staff member even quickly responded to make sure guests didn't run under the chandelier in the lobby. Thank goodness everyone was safe, nothing was damaged in the hotel at all. After being shaken up (both physically and mentally), we quickly checked out, and whilst in the room, another 6.4mag tremor hit. Scared us silly again but thankfully, everyone was safe, nothing was destroyed. Staff were very reassuring and empathetic (towards us who have never experienced quakes). All in all a great fuss free stay. Convenient location to get to the train station where you can get buses to Alishan or train to Alishan. Would stay here again if i had the chance!

The location is fantastic but the hotel overall is too old style, has very traditional design and not very user friendly I would say but overall experience was ok
