Chengde Shuangqiao District Hotels

Location: Relatively superior. There is a river in front of the hotel, which is said to be the mother river of Chengde. It is very beautiful to take a walk at night and enjoy the night view. It's easy to walk to the summer resort. There is a supermarket next to it and a restaurant in the hotel. I eat three meals a day in the hotel. The dishes are rich and the prices are acceptable. I highly recommend it. Service: The smiling service at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic. The Chengde travel guide was clearly explained. If you don’t know the guide, just ask them directly. I told them the wifi password and phone number, and if I have anything to talk to the front desk. Room: Very clean, the quilt smells like sunshine, the bed is comfortable, I slept until dawn Parking: There is a parking lot and a responsible security guard. Environment: The hall is very elegant, beautiful, quiet and comfortable. It is really good to listen to piano music in the lounge hall. Overall: I am very satisfied with my stay. I will stay here again next time. I recommend it.

The hotel's location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to reach all attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming! Breakfast offered a rich variety and superb quality. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also fantastic; the food was wonderfully cooked and delicious. Even as a Southerner, I found the flavors perfectly to my liking! The cleanliness was also impeccable. This hotel is undoubtedly the top choice when visiting Chengde, and its number one ranking is absolutely justified!

Traveling through Chengde, I chose this Lanhai Hotel with an experience mentality, and I was not disappointed. First of all, the service of the ladies at the front desk was very considerate, and the check-in speed was also very fast. No matter what questions I asked, they could answer me enthusiastically and patiently. Entering the room was clean and tidy, full of modernity. Qiancheng Xiaodu voice intelligence, and the breakfast was also very appetizing. It is a hotel worth recommending to everyone

The location and environment are good. One thing to note is that the inn has three floors, but there is no elevator. It is a bit troublesome to live upstairs with a lot of luggage. But when we checked in, the service staff was very considerate to help us carry our luggage, and we were quite embarrassed. Living on the third floor, you can see Bangchui Mountain through the window. The lights are on at night. Not bad. The car can be parked in the parking lot opposite, which is very convenient. There is also a family of five cats in the parking lot. We stayed for two consecutive days, and they came to help us clean the room and replace toiletries the next day. If there is not enough water, you can ask the waiter to help get a few more bottles. There was a problem with the water for bathing. The water flow was very small and not hot. It may be a peak period. The store expressed apologies in time and the attitude was very good. Overall, it is good. There is a response.

New hotel, with spotless facilities and friendly staff. It's very close to the Chengde South Station, which is handy for high speed trains - though is a bus ride or taxi ride away from downtown Chengde and the Mountain Resort area. (Bus 29 takes you down there, but takes a while). Breakfast was good, and there are snacks in reception wheel you come back. The restaurant is only open in the morning - no bar/other facilities, but there are places to eat/shop nearby, though the area feels very new and developing. It was a great choice for me as I came in and out of Chengde South Station and I used the hotel as my base.

Nestled within the ancient walls of the Chengde Mountain Resort, this hotel truly embodies a profound sense of history. Its architectural design beautifully replicates a classical Chinese imperial garden, offering a serene and picturesque environment. A delightful highlight is the opportunity to spot sika deer and various birds right from your bed, making it an ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday or exploring the resort. However, it's a pity that the interior layout and facilities feel quite dated. The bed was also rather small, and the linens were uncomfortable, with the duvet being noticeably thin. On a positive note, the bathroom lighting was excellent. However, adopting energy-saving light sources would not only be more eco-friendly but also help reduce heat emission.

Stayed over for one night at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Chengde. The entrance to the hotel was congested with cars. The parking attendance in front of the hotel wasn't really helpful when my driver dropped us off to check in to the hotel. What he cares was just faster unload and removed the car form that area. He offered no help at all. I was not sure if the parking attendance was employed by the Hilton hotel. If yes then the service was really not up par with the Hilton standard for customer service standard. We carried one large luggages and few smaller bags. We have to carry it over few flights of stairs to get in to the hotel entrance. The sliding path to get into the hotel entrance was not located in front of the hotel entrance but was hidden at the side that was obscured or partially blocked by the parking car at the front. The reception lady was very friendly though. We were given high floor and she scanned my WeChat to easy contact with the hotel later. The hotel room was very spacious and beautiful but the room was stuffy. Only one tiny small window was able to open a little bit to let the outside air go in. The afternoon temperature was as high as 25 degrees Celcius and rather HOT inside the room. We cannot adjust the aircon in the room as it is central setting! Called to the reception to ask why the room air con can't be adjusted and it seems not working but was told it is central setting. Well, you paid a lots to stay at the hotel without proper ventilation but to rely on the outside air to go in the tiny window. Despite the hotel facility was complete but we still cannot really enjoy and sleep comfortably as we felt HOT. The hotel separates the bathroom from toilet. The washing basin was outside of the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. After checking out, I realised I might have left my traveller adaptor in the room. Immediately Isent a text to the hotel via WeChat but to my disappointment, it took two days for them to reply my message asking me to self contact the front desk counter to ask yourself?! What kind of service of that??? Asking hotel guest to add them on WeChat but still asking us to self call the front desk? Not all tourists will have local Sim card to make phone call. That is really a disappointment. They should have offered a better service by checking with the front desk counter and then get back to us via WeChat. This Hilton is definitely still a long way to go to achieve better rating. The hotel is closed to q night market that offers lots of street foods. There was one food stall that offer very palatable Chu Cheong fun. The experience was not pleasant for my one night stay.

The room was spacious, with excellent views and plenty of windows, offering a pleasant view. The facilities were a bit dated, but they worked perfectly. The round outlet on the bedside table was very practical and a nice touch. The toilet paper was awkwardly placed next to the toilet, making it difficult to reach. Elderly people with frozen shoulder would find it very difficult to reach. We recommend this improvement. The breakfast variety and quality were acceptable, but the dining room carpet was worn, and the odor was a bit unpleasant.

Love this place ! Stayed 3 separate times. Once last year and twice this year. Nicest hotel so far in china I’ve been to. Honestly can’t beat this hotel for the price. I went before the 7 day holiday and during it. Was way more expensive during it but still amazing Modern, friendly, great bathrooms, customer service and an insane breakfast Wife mentioned we are repeat customers and they gave us free spa coupon which was great.

Booked this hotel online and saw a pick-up service. But after arriving at Chengde South Station, it was already more than 7 pm. After their pick-up service time. I contacted the front desk and the boss personally drove to the South Station to pick up the station. I was very touched. Hotel facilities are relatively new. Breakfast is quite rich.
