The hotel is in a great location, close to the Summer Resort and close to all the major tourist attractions in Chengde. The hotel is antique and is said to be rebuilt from Emperor Qianlong's study. It has a history of more than 200 years. I feel a little more royal when I live in it, hhh~ The hotel staff are very warm and thoughtful, and the food is also rich and delicious. The only drawback is that there are not many parking spaces. If you arrive late on holidays, there is almost no parking around the hotel. I hope the hotel can make some improvements in this regard. In short, the hotel is still highly recommended, and you can go there with confidence👍

If you want to travel to Chengde on weekends, Qiwang Tower is the best choice. I strongly recommend it to my relatives and friends. Qiwang Tower is part of the Chengde Mountain Resort. It was the study of Emperor Qianlong. It is connected to the mountain resort, but it is independent and self-contained. It is said that many Chinese and foreign leaders have stayed here. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort. There are several bus stops around. The commercial street and the old city center are just a few minutes away. The hotel is quiet in the bustling city, clean and tidy, the staff is warm and thoughtful, the breakfast is rich in variety, and there are Chengde special sesame cakes and mutton soup. For 2 consecutive days, the newlyweds held their weddings in Qiwang Tower. There are also 3 cute deer, which the children like very much. I also want to recommend Ms. Bu Jinyan, who is in charge of tourism at the hotel. She helped plan the tour route and arrangements, which were very smooth and reasonably priced. She also helped to grab tickets for the Kangxi Grand Ceremony and took us through the VIP channel. She also helped me buy tickets for multiple entry and exit of the Mountain Resort + the Little Potala Palace for 3 days (130+80 per person), so I went back to the hotel from the Mountain Resort for lunch on both days and went out again in the afternoon with full energy, which was great! Ms. Bu also personally took us to visit Puning Temple and the Little Potala Palace, and explained patiently and professionally. In addition, she also recommended Xiaoxigou home-cooked food at our request, which is a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The dishes are rich and delicious, with local characteristics, large portions, and affordable prices. It is a "canteen" for local residents.
