The hotel is good, but the girl who attended me was speaking to me French all the time while I’m speaking Arabic to her,( she knew very well that I’m Moroccan and she understood Arabic ) but she insisted to speak French,I felt so uncomfortable,I want to tell her hey we’re Moroccan in chaouen,if I want to speak French I’d better go to Paris.come on!

Minimalist hotel, staff were helpful but the manager was flitting between two properties and wasn’t always available. Breakfast was poor, limited choice and some items were cold when they should have been warm. This is a heavy tourist area and there are plenty of other hotels to choose from.

Nice and welcoming riad. The breakfast is plentiful and good. It's a simple property and the room we were given was very small but for one night it was fine for us. Very kind staff. It is located in a convenient position for visiting the town.

The room had no window and was dark. The staircase is very narrow and steep. It is quite high up, you have to climb hills and stairs to get there. Breakfast was fine, but served in a room/cave. The whole house is dark, of course it is February. The people at the riad are very friendly.

Unfortunately this hotel did not live up to expectations. We were in the annex rather than the more attractive looking main hotel. Difficult to find and our luggage had to be carried miles! The place was pokey with no real common area other than the roof terrace. Our room was very small and there was a ridiculously large piece of furniture which had no use whatsoever! Added to that the red drapes over the bed - why?! The room was very noisy with cat’s and dogs fighting outside and men spitting - yuk! Also, there was a really unpleasant odour - cat pee? Staff were friendly enough although the manager(?) had a massive verbal fight with someone outside just as we arrived - not very appropriate. Also seemed to be reluctant to recommend anywhere good to eat. (We found Sofias which is really good). Not our favourite stay in Morocco.

Good value for money. Guest room full of charm. Located in the heart of the medina of Chefchaouen. Welcome with a little mint tea. Be careful if you have a lot of suitcases, access may be complicated

We went there only for the hammam. It was a great discovery. The staff is friendly and the place is charming. We paid 300 dhs per person for 1 hour of private Hammam. A person is present inside to take care of you, perform the scrub and cover your body with different traditional mixtures (rhasoul etc.). Once finished, fresh water, tea and biscuits await you. It was a great experience that we recommend.

It’s amazing hotel in heart of the old Medina of Chefchaoun, very good location for tourists. It is well maintained and very clean. Lovely breakfast with an amazing terrace, Hamam spa was excellent with a truly Moroccan touch, our whole stay was a very positive experience, staff are friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back :D
