Hampton Inn & Suites Chattanooga/Downtown

It was awesome and great. I would definitely come back here again in the future. Breakfast was fine and delicious. The staff at the front desk in the morning was very friendly and warm.

We came here on a weekend trip. The staff were very great, as they allowed us to check-in earlier than usual. When we had an issue with the remote to our TV, they were very quick in sending someone up to repair it. Rooms were good, though there were some stains on some of the furniture and curtains, but was mostly clean and neat. Noise levels were somewhat high due to other families as well as pet owners, but that can't be avoided. All in all, I would happily return here for the location and service alone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Chattanooga’s downtown was absolutely delightful, and I can’t recommend it enough for families or anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming hotel! From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless. I booked a king bed room and parked right in front of the lobby, making check-in a breeze. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the sight of a sparkling indoor-outdoor pool on my right—complete with a waterfall feature, lush palm trees, and vibrant flowers. It’s such an inviting setup, perfect for kids and adults alike. The pool’s unique design lets you swim indoors or out, and the outdoor area even has a cozy fireplace and s’mores events, which added such a fun, family-friendly vibe. The staff at check-in were phenomenal—three warm, welcoming team members made me feel right at home with their genuine hospitality. The lobby itself is thoughtfully designed, with a water filling station for reusable bottles, a dining area for breakfast or work, and a bar open until 9 PM. I loved the board games available at the front desk, which really emphasized the hotel’s kid-friendly atmosphere. This place is perfectly situated near the Discovery Museum, the aquarium, and tons of great restaurants like Five Guys and pizza spots, all within walking distance. My room (633 on the sixth floor) was a dream. It faced the city, offering a lovely view, and the layout was perfect. The king bed was positioned against the wall facing the window, which made the room feel spacious and quiet. The design ensured no shared walls with neighboring rooms, so it was peaceful despite some street noise from cars below (typical for any downtown). The room had everything I needed: a comfy bed, a small refrigerator, microwave, desk, TV in an armoire, and a safe in the closet. The AC worked like a charm, and I slept like a baby. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, pastries, and fruit (bananas, apples, and oranges available all day). The coffee station is open 24/7, and the lemon-infused water in glass jars was so refreshing. The sundry shop was a nice touch, stocked with wine, beer, ice cream, frozen dinners, snacks, and even over-the-counter meds. Parking was affordable at $10/night in a secure garage with plenty of cameras, and I felt completely safe. The hotel’s location and amenities make it an incredible value for downtown Chattanooga. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area—especially families!

This Hampton Inn is right in the middle of everything you want to do. The free shuttle provided by the City of Chattanooga makes it easy to see everything.

Great hotel, staff & location Staff was great. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Pool area was nice. Area was perfect and walkable. Breakfast was good.
