First the good: the location is very convenient for ball park, aquarium, IMAX, restaurants, and the front seat asst mgr when I checked in was very friendly and accommodating. The bad: the rooms are very worn out. They need to be gutted and redone. The only word that comes to mind is dingy. I selected for a one night stay because of location and because of the Marriott name. The location did not disappoint, but this property does a disservice to Marriott name for room quality

Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a full kitchen, and big screen TV. Staff at the front desk, maintenance, breakfast attendants, and housekeeping were all pleasant and helpful. The lobby was large with many places to sit, which was helpful because we were part of a large group attending a wedding. The hotel is in a good location, easy walk to many restaurants and the aquarium. The breakfast was average. The hotel itself is shabby. The carpets are worn in the rooms and common areas. The furniture is chipped and scratched. In our room the refrigerator was old and noisy when the cooling cycle started. Others in our party had similar type problems. I was told the maintenance staff was very attentive. There is only one elevator. There were times when the wait was several minutes.

This was my family’s first vacation! Mrs. Lily and Mrs. Vicky (or V, I do apologize I’m writing this after my four hour drive back home) they were so sweet and amazing! Thank you guys for being awesome we look forward to coming back! 💙
