"I was mistakenly booked in for an earlier date, but the receptionist kindly fixed up even if I did not turn up on the date booked. I wasn't expecting much from this budget booking, but it had more than I expected for the price. Compact, good location, cozy and quiet + 2 bottles of compliment water "

"It belongs to the same group as Sofitel and Novotel. The room is relatively spacious and comfortable, but there are no toiletries and slippers, which is normal in Australian hotels. Convenient transportation and various restaurants and convenience stores nearby are the plus points for this hotel."

"Check in was Ok, we were there too early but they held our bags and allowed called us well before check in time which was nice. The directions to the room were difficult and initially we were told the wrong way to go. The receptionist had a little bit of attitude but eventually we made it there. Room was huge had nice views with decent balconies. Bit dated but all good. We didn't use the room too much but seemed ok. TV in the bedroom didn't work but beds were good and plenty of space. We liked the pool but the spa wasn't working. You're surrounded by shops and eateries which we enjoyed. Friendly area and felt safe with lots of families around. Check out was fine and again held our bags so we could explore a bit more."

"In general, the room was clean,big and had all the amenities we need. The only problem was that the room was really hot so we had to blast the AC for 30 min. The front desk was also really helpful and called us after we left a charger in the room. Overall, great place to stay."

"So I was impressed with a few things. Firstly, the outside is older looking and could do with a redo. The ammenities were actually pretty good. The hair dryer was a brand new looking Dyson thing. Pity I don't use hair dryers. It was fairly quiet from the road noise but there was someone upstairs making noise at 7am on a Sunday morning. Not cool. No sleep in and so it ruined it a bit for me. Otherwise the place is ok for the price and I'd stay there again. Just not with the noisy cleaner or whatever it was. Squirrels, possums, elephants. We'll never know."

"This hotel has a bar and restaurant downstairs and housing upstairs. My expectations were very low before I stayed, but I found it to be very good. 1. The bathroom and toilet are shared, but they are very clean. 2. The room is generally clean and hygienic. The carpet on the floor may be a little dirty, but the bed is absolutely tidy. 3. The room is next to the street. It may be a bit noisy at night, but it can Accepted 4. The hotel is very convenient to the city center. It is only a short while away from QVB via No. 120. 5. The hotel manager has a very good attitude. The air conditioner was dripping on the first night. The boss kept apologizing and invited me to eat downstairs at half price."

"Nice hotel. Usually good value for the price, except when they are almost full, then it can get expensive. But most of the time good value for money. Staff are very polite and amiable and most of the rooms are clean and comfortable. A few rooms are a little rough and dated but they are slowly being renovated. All round great hotel."
