The hotel was very clean, breakfast was a large buffet and there were precautions in place for covid-19, the food was great- there were some prepackaged food options as well as heated containers of food with lids over them. The room was clean with fresh linens and a comfortable bed, plenty of storage, and great lighting. The staff was super friendly- we checked in around 2:30 am due to a long drive and they were pleasant about the entire situation. Keycards were wiped down before they were given to us. Other guests weren't wearing masks in the common areas, for us it wasn't the greatest situation due to health issues however others may not mind it.

Our stay at the Hyatt House was very good. The location is conveniently located in a quiet area of MT Pleasant with shops within walking distance. It is also only 10 minutes from historical downtown Charleston. The staff at the hotel from housekeeping, to the breakfast team were all exceptionally friendly and attentive. Dominique and Dani who were on front desk duty were the icing on the cake, as they were very hospitable, and knowledgeable about the Charleston area, always ready to assist us whenever we needed assistance. We are looking forward to staying again, with the hopes of having a wider selection of cable TV channels, and the option to use our Netflix account.(It seemed that BET as well as other channels were scrambled with the cable provider that The Hyatt House uses).

This is our first time staying here. We stayed in a king suite with pull out sofa. The room was very spacious and clean. the Kitchen has an apartment size refrigerator. there was a 2-burner flat surface electric stove top. (no oven) there is a big microwave and a toaster and a 12-cup coffee maker. There is also a small dishwasher and sink. there is a variety of dishes and pots and pans. The bathroom has a walk-in shower that has one Payne of glass while the other half of the shower has no glass. The free breakfast had a variety of cereals, fruit, juice, yogurt, coffee & milk. The hot food on our first day was egg & cheese omelet and turkey Canadian bacon, breakfast potatoes. the second morning the meat was sausage patties with fried eggs. there are muffins, prewrapped waffles, and bread/bagels/English muffins. The staff was very attentive to our needs and very courteous.

Members of our family were there for a 2 week post surgery recovery. My sister and I were there for a few days with them . The suite and the hotel was exceptionally clean, well maintained and all the common areas especially the kitchen and dining were remarkably well attended and hygienically clean. It turned out to be the best choice for our recovering post surgery relative. Many thanks and Many Blessing to ach and every staff member we encountered. Each was helpful and eager to answer questions, respond cheerfully and equally concerned to the post-op patient's well being and our family.

Though the hotel itself needed some updating the staff was extremely helpful. I forgot my toiletries bag as well as hair gel. Oliva and Madison at the front desk were able to get me everything I needed quickly. I was in for business meetings so these two saved the day and allowed me to make my meetings on time. They also called into a local restaurant they recommend and were able to secure a reservation for my customers and I on the day of. Everyone enjoyed the recommendation. I will be back thanks to these two and their hospitality. Great location!

The environment of the hotel is very good, the air is fresh and the environment is beautiful. Opposite the room is the harbor where the yachts dock. Going out for dinner is a bit awkward, and there is no problem with driving. However, the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from the city center, so overall it is ok.

We stayed for three days and it was almost perfect: 1. Good location, not far from major attractions; 2. I was pleased with my stay. The room felt spacious, the a/c worked fine, everything was in good working order. The bed was comfortable. Most important: the room was very clean. The lobby area looked nice. Also although the hotel seemed very busy on the nite we were there, I didn't hear anything or anyone once we were in our room -- it was nice and quiet. I read some negatives in other reviews that I agree with: the stains on the green sofa in the room are yukky (Rm 410). Also the desk staff can be brusque - not rude - but the staff on duty early afternoon and late nite were not friendly . The morning staff when I checked out was friendlier. The late nite staff did immediately address my need for a working TV remote when I went to the desk. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, and will go back.
