We met up with family. Very welcoming, good atmosphere, great food and comfortable rooms. Great value for money.

Have just returned from a two night stay. There were three couples and each couple had a dog. On arrival you have to drive through a housing estate, which puts doubts into your mind about the hotel. Fortunately the hotel was fine. We were early but thought we would see if our rooms were ready. The lady on reception was very welcoming and we were able to check in and have our rooms. As it was 1315 we all thought we have lunch, which turned out to be very nice. We had pre booked an evening meal and were glad we did as the food was very nice. In fact we all enjoyed it so much that we booked the evening meal again the next day. Our rooms were clean tidy and spacious but as a previous reviewer wrote a little dated. Overall I would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel and on a lighter note would have liked some lighter music to be played over breakfast as it was very dull

A getaway with my bestie. A really quirky journey/venue. Amazing customer service. Even more amazing menu. We'll be back with our 'others' - they were so jealous when they saw the photos of our scrummy dinner.

My family and I had my mum's funeral we were made so welcome service was excellent, food rooms excellent I can guarantee you will love this place and I know I have been to many hotels in my lifetime in the world well done lordleaze ..

Afternoon Tea was very disappointing. Not many cakes, small jam pot and sandwiches were boring except the salmon one. The scones were homemade and very nice. Wasn't very organized, had to ask for sugar, a tiny little thing of milk. Setting could have been better too. Overall disappointment.

Have visited several times now and always feel welcome. Cannot fault the service and the facilities -everything makes me feel 'at home'. Staff helpful and efficient, rooms clean and well maintained; food also excellent! What more could one want.
