NnikkoeggOur stay as a family of four had been extremely pleasant. Whilst it goes without saying that the hotel was beautifully designed with artistic touches even in the rooms, the aspect that impressed us the most was the attention to details the staff had. They were extremely helpful, always looking out for you even before you realising you needed help. It’s the little things that count- like the staff helping with our heavy heavy suitcases all the way to the main road (our taxi wasn’t able to get into the small alleyway) even when it was raining; remembering that my mom doesn’t eat beef, packing our favourite fruits for us to bring on our next journey. With service as impeccable as this, we felt at ease during our stay here and can’t wait to be back if we’re visiting Changsha again! (special shoutout to Ms. 柯, you have been very helpful and we appreciate your help!)

The room was spotless, modern with big projector screen, and very comfortable. They even provide free door to door laundry services.

GGuest UserThis trip in Changsha was particularly comfortable because I chose the right homestay! The location is really great. It is near Huangxing Square and a few minutes' walk to the subway station. It is very convenient to go shopping and eating in Pozi Street and IFS. You can also take a walk to see the night view of Xiangjiang River at night. The room is surprisingly clean, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and even the corners are spotless. The facilities are very new, the air conditioner cools quickly, and there is plenty of hot water. What I want to praise most is the staff, who are very considerate from check-in to check-out. Inform the route in advance, help with luggage, and recommend a Hunan restaurant frequented by locals. The responsive attitude makes people feel like home. The decoration is simple and a little retro, and the photos are very good. It is comfortable and stylish to live. I will choose here next time I come to Changsha!

GGuest UserNot recommend for the price I paid. When we arrived at 3pm, CS told me the room wasn't ready, while it mentioned that check in time is from 11am onwards.
There was only one hanger holder in the bathroom to hand towel, no where to put any changed clothes.
This hotel located in a commercial building together with another hotel, so was little challenging to find.
Overall with the price I paid for a three persons room, not worth it. Location is good as it's quite close to 五一廣場

It was super convenient to have takeout delivered by a robot directly to my room. The bathroom featured a thoughtful wet/dry separation design. Taxis were easily accessible near the hotel, and there's a subway station just a 6-7 minute walk away. Plus, there's a Chayan Yuese (a popular tea shop) right downstairs. Overall, a great experience!

As a frequent traveler to Hunan, Changsha, I’ve stayed at many hotels around IFS and Wuyi Square, but traffic and congestion have always been an issue—until now. 236 FUNGEE Hotel was a refreshing change! Located just an 8-minute walk from IFS, it offers both convenience and peace.
A huge thank you to Dong Cheng and Peng Peng for their warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The hotel was exceptionally clean—far beyond my expectations. Room service and complimentary laundry service were provided daily without fail, which made our stay all the more comfortable.
We also chose to upgrade with the breakfast buffet, and it was absolutely worth it. The portions were generous and the food was delicious every single morning.
A special highlight of our stay was the extraordinary support we received on our last day. My younger brother misplaced his necklace, and when we reported it, the hotel manager immediately engaged a team to help. Their swift and thorough action led to the necklace being found and returned to us—an act of kindness and professionalism we deeply appreciated. Special thanks to the beautiful and kind-hearted manager—you truly have a golden heart.
We are more than happy with our experience and will definitely return for our next visit to Changsha. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great stay with excellent service. Our friends and family will be hearing all about this gem!

特别感谢东成和蓬蓬给予我们热情的接待和无微不至的照顾。从入住的第一天开始，我们就感受到了他们的用心与温暖。酒店整体非常干净，远远超出我们的预期。每天都有免费的客房清洁和洗衣服务，从不间断，为我们的旅行带来了极大的便利。
我们还升级了自助早餐，事实证明非常值得。早餐不仅美味，而且分量十足，每天都吃得非常满足。
最让我们感动的是，在离店的最后一天，我弟弟不小心遗失了项链，我们立刻向酒店经理求助。她立即组织了一支团队，耐心细致地帮我们寻找，最终成功找回并归还给我们。我们对此无比感激！特别要感谢那位非常漂亮的女经理，不仅外貌出众，更拥有一颗金子般善良的心。

The front desk service on the ground floor was incredibly welcoming; the lady spoke softly and had such a kind and thoughtful attitude. She even proactively upgraded me to a river-view king room. The room was spacious and well-appointed with every amenity. Not only did it feature a bathtub and bathrobes, but an iron was thoughtfully provided, which perfectly addressed my immediate need to press my clothes and shirts. The bedding, too, was a delightful surprise; the mattress offered the perfect balance of firmness, and the duvet and sheets were incredibly soft and skin-friendly. I felt all my fatigue melt away the moment I lay down, leading to exceptionally sound and peaceful sleep throughout my stay. The highlight, however, was definitely the room's stunning view – opening the window revealed a panoramic vista of Orange Isle and the majestic Xiang River unfolding right before my eyes. Especially at dusk, as the golden hues of the setting sun streamed into the room, the spectacular evening glow over the river was on full display. That moment of tranquility and comfort truly allowed me to completely unwind, both physically and mentally.

GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!
