Hotels with Parking in Chambery

Fifth visit to this hotel and for the first time when booking I saw different prices for different room sizes, and chose the only 1 that had any availability when I came to book, so I knew I would not be getting a big room with balcony as I've had twice before. The air considering now seems to be in all rooms (it was only in some last time I stayed in 2019), but I do wish they would give the option of being able to use it all year round (a notice states that when the mode has been switched, I guess centrally, it is not possible to switch it back, and last time I stayed it was a warm October and the air conditioning didn't work). In steamy June it was great to have very efficient and controllable air con and the room was very comfortable for sleeping. Every room has a kitchenette which we find very useful for chilling drinks etc. We did miss the balcony for having a drink, but knew we wouldn't get this so weren't disappointed. The young chap who checked us in was very pleasant but spoke very fast French to me at check in and didn't revert to English despite my not great French, I think I should be flattered! We had some issues with our door lock which worked only intermittently. We reported it twice and the problem seems to be diagnosed by what colour light shows when the card is inserted, the problem was there was no light at all! The second time, after being totally locked out and even a very friendly housekeeper couldn't make it work, the lady from reception changed the batteries but it still didn't work reliably so she said she'd get maintenence to have a look the next day. We don't think this happened, but we did find that if we pulled the door forward before putting the key in we could get it to open. The piece of wood at the bottom of the door was loose and was a bit of a trip hazard. Housekeeping is only done every other day which was perfectly fine and when it was done it was to an amazing standard (eg sheets changed) but the coffee supplies seemed inadequate for 2 people (only 1 coffee capsule, creamer etc) , not that it was a problem for us as the machine was a bit too complicated! All in all, this was another very pleasant stay in a hotel that feels like home from home for us now!

We’ve stayed here before due to its convenient location and reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are typical Mercure and fine for an overnight stay. We enjoyed a drink in the bar but skipped breakfast which seemed quiet expensive. Parking in the underground car park was €8 for my motorcycle. Although you have to drive around the block to enter the car park you can access the hotel from it.

First time we have stayed in a Campinile and we were pleasantly surprised. Stayed for four nights. Nice quiet room with everything you need. Best bit is the electric blind that turns day into night. Only noise we heard was a late arriving coach load of Italians but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Restaurant menu a bit limited and service a bit erratic. Breakfast not bad. Room cleaning non existent on Sunday night.

Even though we Absolutely Could Not go to our room before check in (but we could leave our bags)(the French & their rules!) this hotel was fabulous. Great location, efficient welcome, lovely bar, a swim or sauna if we’d fancied, a huge room with a comfortable huge bed, decent sized bathroom-oh yes it was all there-& the best bit-a massive window the whole width of the room, which you could completely open & if you’re on the 7th floor, superb views of Chambery & surrounding mountains. Magic.

Voilà un très bon hôtel très bien situé dans Chambéry. L'accueil y est aussi professionnel que prévenant. Les chambres sont grandes et la literie excellente. Nous y avions essayé le spa avec plaisir, peignoirs de bain fournis. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas de reste et laisse un bon souvenir au moment de quitter les lieux. Il est conséquent et inventif. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les mini cannelés. Nous y reviendrons au Printemps quand Chambéry sortira de son hibernation post Noël.

Located a 15 minutes walk from the city center, with free parking, this Budget place was perfect for stopover on the way to the South of France. Very friendly welcome, rooms are basic but OK and clean. Our daughter fell sick during the night and Guillaume from the front desk was very helpful and understanding. Great job well done! Very recommended to stay, cost-effective, the environment is very good. Beautiful environment, good geographical location, convenient transportation, comfortable and sanitary rooms, service staff are very enthusiastic, facilities are very humane, high-speed network signal is good, the view outside the window is good. The design of the room's small pendulum is also very distinctive. Next time, check in.

The hotel in itself is ok, and the breakfast is great. BUT it is advertised as being air conditioned but in mid June, with 30° outside, they still hadn't switched the air conditioning on. With the noise of the (very close) motorway, it was impossible to open the windows. When we told them the next morning, they said we should phone next time to check that the air conditioning was working. Hmmm, I don't think there'll be a next time. PLUS the hotel is advertised as having a swimming pool. It was out of order, and had been for over a week. Not great. You can find better in Chambéry. Mi juin, ils n'avaient toujours pas allumé la clim, malgré les 30° dehors, et l'autoroute très proche... pas terrible. Et la piscine était hors service, depuis plus d'une semaine. On peut trouver mieux à Chambéry.

I have come to France in addition to the basic Ibis living in the meeting, I think it is very good overall, whether it is breakfast or hotel service, in the Ctrip booking, the waiter at the front desk when the English is not very good, but still enthusiastically help me solve the problem, point awesome.
