We were mesmerized by the jagged landscapes and goofy-looking trees. A few months later, we made a return trip but didn’t go all the way to Palm Springs and spent a week in Joshua Tree falling in love with the town. After a few road trips a year from Denver, we decided to move to Southern California in the summer 2021, with hopes of finding our own desert-boho-chic-chill place with great views and delicious sunsets in Joshua Tree. In the fall of 2021 we found this cabin – outdated and in need of some serious TLC – and spent the next six months on renovations to turn it into what you see now.Casa de Alta Loma is literally our dream come true! It’s not just a short-term rental property for us, it’s our get-away escape from the real world.---Locally hosted by Jenn, an East Coast transplant, who loves living in the desert and sharing this area with guests.
