To be honest, choosing this hotel just because it’s close to my business trip appointments, I was actually quite disappointed since the booking process.
The hotel is very old but clean, location is good which is no complaint about on accessibility.
However, no phone in the room saying PABX brokers (first time ever I heard of with my 20+ years hotel experiences), you can’t ask for extra bottle of water. Request that none could be attended to on bedding. When we checked in after official check in time that was told room isn’t available. Until I refused to accept as I did have appointment to catch.
On the good side, room is spacious but it’s like 30 years old without any renovations. Not sure if I would ever come back staying here again if I visit Jakarta again.

The room had a couple of pieces of trash left on the floor when I checked in. The facility, was otherwise clean, however, the shower booth was only separated with a sheet of glass which only covered a half of the booth. The water wet the floor outside the booth.
The staff was very helpful with the checkin, at breakfast, and kindly lending me their own charger when I forgot mine and didn’t have enough battery to go purchase a new charger.
Location-wise, it was close to the center of the town and was close to a clean cafe, however, it was very hard to find where the hotel was, as it is located at the top of the Transport Hub building, and no guidance was provided once I got into the building and found an elevator.

A renovated hotel downtown looks nice but has some things that could be improved. Similar to OYO, which has gained popularity in India, Jakarta has also seen a rise in renovation-type hotels. The advantages are clear: good location, updated facilities (though the building beneath the wall is old), and efficient operations. However, soundproofing is poor due to the age of the building. I could hear the sound of a live band playing on the ground floor, even on the 5th floor, and a guest on the 3rd floor complained to the front desk the following day. The air conditioning is also outdated, leaking water from the AC on the 5th-floor corridor. There’s no privacy curtain, just blackout ones, making it hard to let in natural light. There is no car waiting zone in front. Considering the location, facilities, and operations, USD65, including tax, service, and breakfast, is reasonable.

This hotel is considered a budget hotel and it is renovated and not new. The rooms are very ordinary and the room lighting is dim and there is not enough lighting. The bathroom lighting is very dim, God bless you. The air conditioning is very cold and the sound of the air conditioning is annoying and cannot be controlled. As for breakfast, it is very bad. The options are very limited and all the food is Indonesian and not suitable for Arabs at all.
