Blue Bay

This hotel is incredible. Location is amazing, walking to wonderful Cefalu (30-40 min). It has an amazing private beach with all kinds of sea toys (kayaks, etc.). Rooms are huge. With private HUGE terraces. Free breakfast (not western standards but local fresh products.) So..... not 5 star but a perfect base to enjoy the beach and explore northern Sicily with a car (free parking). On top... nice people

Great beach very well equipped and very closed to the center and all the meeting points and the commodities Definitely recommend for families with kids The variety of food could be improved since most of the places sell frozen food from the package maybe suitable for Americans but not Europeans or Italians

Great location and good quality for the price. The rooms are plain but very large, contain a kitchenette area with sink and mini-fridge and counter. Small dining table, couch (pullout bed) and a separate bedroom area that can be closed off with sliding doors. The beach is rocky, but that is how it is in this area, so you definitely need swim shoes. We used the beach loungers and kayak, and enjoyed the relaxation. Even had a beer from their little bar at the beach. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast is included in a restaurant with a beautiful view. They offer a continental breakfast but no hot food. It was fine, but nothing special.

Me & my wife surprisingly refused entry for a drink having walked 45mins from Cefalu. Explained this on arrival. Turned away because we weren’t guests. Never had this experience before and went next door to the 5 Star Le Calette hotel who were very welcoming and offered great customer service

We spent three nights at the Blue Bay. The location is a beautiful hillside with a small, rocky private beach. We booked a suite with balcony and sauna. It was immense and included two bathrooms. The room was very clean and the bed was gigantic and quite comfortable. There was a large screen TV but as the internet connection is almost non existent, it was impossible to watch anything on it which was ok with us. On site parking is a major plus. The breakfast buffet was just adequate. Nothing special but there was a nice selection of fresh fruit. We were celebrating an anniversary and Fabio arranged an excellent table overlooking the beach at a lovely restaurant in town. It is about an easy half hour walk into the heart of Cefalu which is particularly appreciated after a huge Sicilian dinner. It's distance from the town center makes for a very quiet and peaceful night's sleep. It was also very nice to be able to spend a long morning chilling at the beach after several days of driving and sightseeing around Sicily. The Blue Bay is an excellent value if your looking for a large, modern room a little off the beaten path. We enjoyed our stay very much/

Really lovely stay for 3 nights in this cliff top hotel. Beautiful bay that it is situated in. Lovely big room with kitchenette and sitting area, with a huge patio! Nice breakfast in a room at the end of the bay, good selection of produce. All areas were clean and serviced well. 3 warnings for folks there are a lot of steps down to the beach areas and most of the rooms, just something to be aware of for those that are less mobile. Beach is stony so best to have water shoes if planning on going into the water. About an 25 to 30 min walk into town again just for those that may be less mobile. Everything was perfect, the only advice I would say is that the patio is so big in most of the rooms that they could invest in some sun loungers for the patios. However this is only a suggestion to improve an already perfect place.
