I normally don’t write reviews but this one deserves one.
First, we got in at 1 am. The air conditioning at the previous hotel we were staying at stopped working and the hotel couldn’t even provide a fan to help keep the room a little cooler.
So we decided to check out and Citadines Cebu was the first choice base on location. As soon as we arrived, the room was pleasantly cold enough for our 17 month old to feel comfy (the kid likes to sleep cool). The breakfast was great. I honestly don’t know what people are expecting sometimes. It had about everything you may want. It was a great selection of different foods.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The free mineral water in the room is in a plastic kettle, claiming to be environmentally friendly. However, first of all, I had to guess for a long time before I knew it was free drinking water. Secondly, the water outlet was wrapped in poor quality plastic. Fortunately, I couldn't open it if I didn't bring an eyebrow trimmer. There are many plugs in the room, and even a USB port, but only one of them can really work. The LG smart TV in the room is relatively new, but it is useless without connecting to the Internet.
A colleague of mine smoked in the bathroom of his room, and the cigarette butt was not completely flushed by the toilet water. He was fined 25,000 Philippine pesos. The waiter couldn't hide his smile when he came to find him with the bill.
