Metro Cebu was our last destination from our trip and choosing this hotel or hostel?? was truly a let down. We came from moalboal and reaching this location is truly awful. Expectation Vs. Reality hits us hard. When you stepped inside the establishment you can see the reception 10 meters away and O dear Good Lord. This is the first time I experience how dark the place is. I almost clasped my hands and suddenly asked myself, by any chance did I ever made a mistake of booking this place. I don't remember this place at all, it looked so different from their website. I don't understand how the interior looked so grim and uninviting. My husband looked at me with bizarre look on his face. Like he wanted to ask me "are you sure this is the place?" I feel ashamed, I took the role of arranging our itinerary trip and booking our accommodation and this is what we get from our last trip. We were supposed to take this time to relax and pamper ourselves but no. You can't even enjoy sleeping in here. Elevator is not working at the moment so you will have to take the stairs going to our room and passing through the hallway is creepy and darker. When we finally reached to our room, it didn't change our impression of this establishment. Still, we're thankful their aircon is functioning well but definitely it looks old. the room is clean yet it doesn't look as bright in the picture. Their toilet and bathroom looks decent. no hot shower though. it also gets flood inside when you take a bath. I can't even say that this is a budget hotel because I don't get the justification of its price. maybe we can get the value of our money from here is their location. there are several places around to eat but we didn't choose to eat there. By the way, be warned. I remember the reason why I chose this hotel or hostel to book because they posted it that this place has a several attractions with close proximity of the hotel. This is what they posted online SM City Cebu 450 m Cebu Trade Hall 470 m Temple of Leah 560 m Sirao Flower Garden 560 m Taoist Temple - 3.7 km These are the example of the places mentioned in their website. I was fooled by this information. This is an outright lie. Hilarious and ridiculous at the same time. Aside from this dilemma of getting tricked by this info, I also wanted to give special mention about your morning time. You can definitely tell that this is Metro Cebu because after getting your sleep from this unaffected unembellished hotel you'll be waking up from sceaming horns of jeepneys and taxi right in front of the hotel. When we draw the curtains to see the view outside.. Yep, this is Metro cebu. full of vehicles looking down in front of your window. What a wonderful wake up call to start your day!
