For the location Amber Hotel was one of the better hotels to lodge, however the area was filled with homeless and pick pockets. I had someone try to steal my wallet but they were only able to take my hotel key, thankfully. I didn’t feel comfortable in Cebu and couldn’t wait to leave!

This was somewhat of a business trip so the stay was ok, was not something spectacular but very practical. Breakfast was ok, amd stay was as well.

It was a nice stay. However, the breakfast box is very pure consisting of a toast (no fruits, vegetables) and water. And the hotel asked for 50 pesos for the box. This was very strange. Otherwise very clean and nice.

This is a newly built hotel with clean rooms.

The lobby is on the third floor. I usually take the elevator from the first floor to my room, so I don't have much opportunity to talk to the receptionists, but they are very polite and cheerful, which makes me feel good.
There are about eight types of breakfast on the menu, and you can choose your own each time, and they cook it for you, so I stayed for four nights and everything was delicious and I never got bored, and it felt more luxurious than a buffet.
If I had to say something extravagant, there were no slippers in the room, so I think it would be more comfortable if they had them.
Right next door there is a pharmacy and bakery where you can buy drinks and snacks (7 pesos and 10 pesos), and in front of the hotel is the Robinson department store, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat or drink.
On the second floor there is an Indian restaurant owned by a Japanese owner, and the curry, biryani, and lassi were all very delicious. I recommend it when you want to eat food from other countries in between Filipino food.

Good location, yummy breakfast and clean room and linen. Water dispenser along the corridor. Room a bit small but there are shelves to place your stuffs. Very quiet. Bathroom very small and awkward in design. No door to shower and water comes out all the time. There are soap and shampoo dispensers but is so difficult to get anything out.
