My wife and I spent four nights at Ciuri di Strata while in Catania for a friend's wedding. We have stayed in many places in many cities around the world and this is one of our favorites anywhere. The building was restored recently, so you get to enjoy the beautiful 1920s ceilings and tile floors with modern comforts. The B&B is quiet, well maintained, and very clean. Alessandra and Giuseppe are perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived we enjoyed their warm hospitality and friendliness. The daily breakfast is a highlight! Don't miss the freshly pressed juice.

Please, please let us know your check-in time in advance to ensure a smooth check-in. You will receive an email, so please make sure to check it before you go. If you look closely next to the entrance, you will see DOME written on it. There is no large sign, so please look carefully at the wall when looking for the accommodation. The host was very kind, and the room was pretty and well-equipped. It was a very satisfactory room. This is a very memorable hotel in Catania.

The location is average, but very new, the room is large, if you need two rooms, it is strongly recommended to set up a family room of 85 square meters, super large, the practical area of 85 square meters, there are eight balconies, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one large living room. The mini bar and coffee are free.

We stayed in the Palazzo for one night - a little gem of a place tucked away down a quite street behind a large door. Our room was beautiful. It overlooked a busy street but the windows were soundproofed so we heard absolutely nothing. Equipped with everything you would need, spotless clean. The host provided a bottle of bubbly and goodies which we enjoyed later that night on the balcony overlooking the street below. Correspondence with the host as excellent. Token given for breakfast nearby. The palazzo was within easy walking distance of the town. Disliked · There was no parking at the property and parking was difficult to find nearby. The nearest carpark was full, so we paid a local guy for street parking - I don't know whether this was legal or not, but there were quite a few ”car park attendants” around directing people into car park spots! We moved the car the next day into the car park.

We were very welcome, we arrived well before check-in, but we could leave our baggage that were then raised in our room. The receptionist, very kind and friendly, gave us a Catane plan and gave us good advice to walk and for the restaurants. The hotel has a design decoration and the majesty of the old palace. We have been very well sleeping because the street is relatively quiet and there is a very good double glass. Breakfast is very expensive, served as a buffet in a pleasant room. We enjoyed having fresh fruits, among other things. At our departure we could leave our luggage at the hotel to walk quietly in Catane, with our plane being in the evening. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable.

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel. It is very central, located in City Centre, close enough to the historic landmarks, but off the main area and away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel was extremely spacious, was modern, clean and had great amenities - Salvatore Farragamo. Before we arrived, Giorgia had sent a WhatsApp message to call her when we arrived at the front. We called her and she was there in no time to assist with our luggage and check us in swiftly. Giorgia also assisted with our daily breakfast requests. One day we forgot to order breakfast, as we had spent the day in Taormina. I messaged Giorgia on WhatsApp and she promptly sent the menu, then took our order for the following morning. Breakfast in Italy is sweet in general and I could not get enough of the ricotta cannoli and fruit teas. The only downside is that downstairs is quite dirty and there was construction going on every morning that we stayed from 8am. Although downstairs is quite dirty, we felt safe in that Giorgia had texted us the codes to the lifts, so only the hotel guests were aware and we felt secure upstairs. Thank you Giorgia for also assisting us with booking the transfer to the bus station and helping us with our luggage upon our departure. We definitely want to come back to Catania in the future and stay at Meo Design Suites & Spa again!
