This place!!!! This is the best hotel experience I have ever had. Alessandra was our host and she is amazing. First of all I had to change my reservation 2 times. She communicated with me in WhatsApp before the trip and during the trip. It is a quaint hotel on a Main Street in Catania, Sicily. She has a great breakfast spread that is included in the cost of the room. It was the first time I had ever had lemon preserves!! You access the hotel with your hotel key and there is someone to help you that stays at the hotel. The bed was super comfortable and the room and lobby was immaculate!! She arranged a taxi for us to the train station. It appeared much closer and easier to walk than it actually would have been. Especially late at night. She was in the lobby late in the evening also. She visited with us during breakfast to see how our day was the day before and what we had planned for the day and if we needed anything. The hotel is centrally located on a busy street. We felt safe walking and actually walked over 20 minutes to the town square and on to the fish market area for our dinner. There was a free concert in the town square and it was full of people.

We stayed in Catania at Etnea 454 for one evening before flying out. Everything about our experience was great. The hotel and room were spotless, and the room was very comfortable. The host Alessandra was very welcoming and helpful. The location is great in that it is just on the edge of the main tourist area - so you can access it but also be out of the fray. Also I was able to find parking 50m away for my car rental. The breakfast was also very good. Etnea 454 is a very good value for money.

We stayed here on Sunday night and it was just delightful. Ander, was as helpful and courteous as could be. We weren't sure about where to park our car and he was on top of it. Communicating every step of the way. The rooms were very nice as were the bathrooms. The decor is lovely. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend staying here. It is a little way from the center of the city, but a nice walk and the gardens close by are magnificent.
