I spent four nights at this Hostal in April of this year-2025-and was very impressed....The location was perfect-a short walk to the main square Plaza de Armas....Sleep quality was excellent and my room was large and clean....The shared kitchen was very convenient and the view from the terrace overlooking the estuary was very beautiful...The staff member I dealt with was Claudio and he was helpful and friendly...Very close by were some excellent restaurants...This is a lovely place to stay and is definitely worth returning to...Top marks...10 out of 10.

Good choice in Castro
Lovely place on the water. Very welcoming host. Cosy and comfortable. Only problem we encountered was that breakfast we ordered did not appear at the specified time and we had to leave with a minimal provision for the money.

Fint sted med god service fra de unge medarbejdere
Vi blev meget vel modtaget af to unge medarbejdere, som var meget imødekommende og venlige under hele vores ophold.
Man kan tilkøbe en fin morgenmad.
Stedet er hyggeligt, men der bliver varmt på værelserne, når temperaturen er mere en 20 grader. De unge mænd som arbejdede der, var søde at låne os en fan.
Det ligger lidt væk fra byen, og man skal op af en seriøs bakke, for at komme ind til centrum.
Når man ikke må smide toiletpapir i toilettet, ville det være rart, hvis skraldespanden på badeværelset bliver tømt dagligt, hvilket desværre ikke var tilfældet.
Fint til prisen, men man skal have fysik til at gå på stejl bakke, når man skal ind til byen.

La decoración del lugar hermosa, buena vista y terraza agradable . Está muy buen ubicado , la habitación es adecuada para dormir , cama cómoda , no pasamos frío y todo estuvo muy limpio , desde los espacios comunes hasta las toallas y sábanas, la atención excelente ! A magical place, comfortable and warm room. Everything was clean, both the room and the common areas. A lot of silence which was very comfortable when it was time to rest, the owner of the place responded quickly and was attentive to what we needed. In the mornings they tidied and cleaned our room and bathroom and there was also the option of doing laundry, which had a low cost. 100% recommended, I would return to Palafito Waiwen a thousand times more.

Es un buen lugar si quieres vivir la experiencia de estar en un Palafito… Es un lugar acogedor, no muy grande y solo tiene un gran dormitorio luminoso y con vista al mar.
