Gardaland Magic Hotel

Hotel is great, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, clean. You get bottle of Water, Tea bags and coffee every day. I love it because it is very well sound proof room and you can hardly hear anything from outside. Also great Pool area. You need a cap for the hair. If you don't have it, you can buy it for 7eur at the Pool reception. They can only improve some service at the reception desk. The lady was really confused. When we arrived, she hardly found us in the system and when we left, she wanted to charge us some food and drinks from the restaurant, that we did not have and did not order. We ased for the manager to come, but then she called somewhere and it was then ok. Beside that, the hotel was great, also shuttle Bus is a big plus. It drives you to the Gardaland and there you can switch a bus also to the city of Pescaria. Really great if you stay in the hotel for more than 1 day. The themed rooms are a wonderful experiance.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. I would say that there were good points and some not so much. On booking this hotel we didn’t realise it was a ‘complex’ (similar to but not quite centerparcs). We had a junior suite which was spacious, with high ceilings, a terrace and a dressing room. Plenty of seating. The bathroom was ok but not 4*. We struggled to get the aircon working and when asked was told we needed to ask for it to be switched on. The pools, wellness and gym are very tired with some areas not working. A bit of work all these could be lovely. We were half board and I must say this was the best part. Maximiliano, Anthonio and Adrian were so friendly and helpful. As usual with Italian food there was so much of it but it was all delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of wine too every night. We did have a mini bar in the room but found it strange when we were asked what we’d had at the end of our stay! The hotel is a bit out of Peschiera but the hotel shuttle bus was spot on! We also hired bikes locally. They were delivered to the hotel and were very safely stored outside. The river is only 2km away and has safe riding.
Gardaland Adventure Hotel

We stayed for one night as a family of 4, while visiting Gardaland. Pro's: 1. Great location - easy 5 minute shuttle ride into the park in the morning. Can leave your car in the hotel carpark (but see below). 2. Fantastic room - they are themed. Kids loved the jungle theme on the walls and ceiling, and the treasure hunt (puzzle to solve in the room). Nice layout for a family - effectively two bedroom areas separated by a bathroom in the middle. Reasonably modern bathrooms, and rooms have aircon. 3. Breakfast room is also themed (egyptian), and buffet had a nice selection. Kids were very happy. Con's: 1. The pool / resort part of the hotel closes very early in the season (which wasn't clearly telegraphed in our booking). It was still very hot, and we had no pool. Worth checking before you book. 2. Shower in the bathroom is tiny. 3. We saw at least one car broken into in the hotel carpark - so beware of leaving valuables in there.
Parc Hotel

Arrived here from Milan with the family via a rental car. **Check-in:** We may have missed the check-in process, thinking we could check in at our hotel directly. However, there is a main reception area in the resort where you need to check in prior to going to your actual hotel. The reception/information desk at your specific hotel is primarily for information purposes. **Room:** The room was clean and served our needs. I wouldn't class the room as fancy, but it was well tended to by the staff, who always greeted us with a friendly smile and a ”good morning”. The bathroom was clean and practical, though the lime green tiled floor reminded me of a 1980s bathroom back home. There was a free safe in the wardrobe. The hairdryer in the bathroom was terrible; you'd have more wind and heat from someone coughing on your hair to dry it. **Parking:** There is plenty of free parking at the resort. We parked in the underground garage of the Parc Hotel. Another guest asked if I had seen anyone around a nearby hotel car park, as her car window had been smashed and her bag taken. How true this is, I have no idea. Use the more secure garages provided if in any doubt. **Shuttle:** There is a free shuttle that goes from various locations in the resort. It is free of charge and runs hourly throughout the day. It stops at certain times for the driver to have dinner etc. (I assume). It drops you at the nearby town centre of Peschiera. **Pools:** The outdoor pools do not require hats, but the indoor pool does. The pools are clean and very child-friendly. There are quieter adult pools too. We stayed at the child-friendly pool located between the Parc Hotel and the Lagoon pool. The slide and other features are good but appear to only ever be on in the afternoon when a lifeguard is present. **Supermarket:** We used the local supermarkets to stock up on bottled water to save us from using the contents of the paid minibar in our room. **General Info:** We used the QR code at the info points to gain access to discounted tickets to Gardaland Resort. You still have to pay 7 euros to park there on top of your ticket. All-inclusive: We met a family who opted for this option at the Parc Hotel and could only use their wristbands at the Piano bar or when the ad-hoc bar next to the Parc Hotel info point opened in the afternoon. They could NOT avail themselves of the all-inclusive package at any other bar, as they were informed these were sublet to different companies. Something to consider.
