The facilities were not very well maintained but it gets the job done. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the service was very nice.

Old hotel, dirty carpet, restroom fan very loud, elevator door closes too fast and hit me, small parking so I had to park across the hotel in a dark street, the coffee pot was dirty and the shower is very hard to open. The bed is not comfortable 😔 other than that the people at the desk are very nice people.

Worst stay ever! No AC! Broken Shower! Wouldn’t accommodate us to assist with our disabled child! Wouldn’t give us a refund! The carpet was burned and stained what looked like for years! Unsanitary and dirty!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING!!!

I have stayed here over the last 30 years….this will be my last time. Dirty shower, crusty shower head was zero flow, sink didn’t drain. Carpet had burn marks, window was broken. This was a great place to stay near downtown. Hard pass from a guy who loved its location and service.

When I arrived my room was not ready yes so we had to wait and we arrived 2 hours later from check in time at 3pm. Not only that the AC was not working properly so we left it on and went to enjoy the rest of the day at family’s house and came back to a hot room and apparently there was nothing they can do. Worst experience ever there and I will never recommend that place nor book a room there again.

If I could rate these ****** a 0 I would. They rented me a room with a non-functioning air conditioner...when the daily temperature was just shy of 100 degrees! The maintenance guy who stopped by to fix it, and couldn't, told me this is a relatively common problem at the hotel. When I reported the problem to the front desk there were two other guests reporting problems, too. One also had a non-functioning air conditioner. The other had no running water in his room! I will never, ever stay at this hotel again.

Our stay this time was not very good. In the past I've stayed at Hardman House and was satisfied, not so this time. The first night our air conditioning didn't work and the following morning it was repaired. During our whole stay we couldn't get a warm shower. The front desk told me it had to do with the shared hot water tank and too many guests were trying to take a shower at the same time. My brother was in another room and he had no issues. The problem with the shower in room 101 is the shower controls. It is very old and needs to be replaced. In the future I believe I'll be looking for another place to stay. I need a front desk that takes my complaint seriously and has the maintenence folks take a look instead of giving me an excuse on why it does't work.

Comfortable bed, powerful full head shower stream, a separated (by a door) restroom from sink basin, had thick darkening curtains, many table surfaces, circular table with chairs, long desk with chair, sufficient lightning, cold mini refrigerator, cute from the 80's small working microwave, working cold thermostat and awesome personable employees. Go to Heidi's (cadicorner across street) for breakfast and Red's Old 395 Grill for everything else 😋 Have Carson, Reno and Lake Tahoe fun. You won't be disappointed.
