Hotel floor was all tore up, room was dirty, it took about 10 minutes with the water running to finally get hot

The facilities were not very well maintained but it gets the job done. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the service was very nice.

I didn't read the reviews until after I had made and paid for the reservations for the nights of 11-7 and 11-8. Many of the reviews were not positive and so I got a knot in my stomach because there was no refunds. The closer we got to Carson City from our home in California the more tight my stomach got. When we got to the registration desk we asked to see the room before we brought our stuff in. The young man working the desk happily oblidged and showed us to room 103. When he opened the door, we walked in expecting the worst. I was so happy I could have kissed him,lol! The room was very clean and inviting. There was a small stain on the carpet but that was it. It is an older hotel so it doesn't look brand new but big deal. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and we have found our place to stay when we are in CCarson City.

Be staying at the Hardman House for over 20 years. I’ve never seen a place go downhill like this. It’s absolutely trashed. The hallways carpet looks like a crime scene. Huge tears and stains. The room itself #208) was filthy. Stained carpet, dirty walls, dust everywhere, windows hadn’t been washed, rotted curtains. The bathroom was disgusting with flooring stained,water damage above the tub with mold growing etc. Hard to believe that they could think anything like that is acceptable. I own rental property and would never consider renting in that condition. Shame because it used to be a decent place to stay. It’s definitely the last time for us.

The door between our room and the conjoining room would not lock. We were told nobody was end up joining Room, but we heard somebody in the shower and the TV on and phones being used about 10 PM The window wouldn’t lock. It was propped open with an ice bucket. The bathroom sink would not drain. We had to brush our teeth in the bathtub. Carpet head terrible stains on it handles under dresser were falling off. To top it all off when the sheet popped off overnight and we were going to put it back on we saw what resembled a dark brown blood stain on the mattress. The hairdryer was missing the covers to prevent your hair from being pulled inside. When I mentioned these concerns, the front desk person who was not at the desk very often at all, said that they would charge us to leave early.

Mostly clean, staff was friendly...BUT.....so SO tired and run down. Bordering on out right dilapidated. King bed was a simple metal frame sp worn it squeaked and rattled LOUDLY with ANY movement. TV didnt work. But our neighbor's sure did! Paper thin walls; his sneeze woke us up like he was in the room! Toilet ran non stop. Ceiling tiles (all of em) held in place by what appeared to be first aid tape. Barely any outlets. Not all lights worked. Tried to get an alternate hotel but all seemed booked. NEVER AGAIN.

For the price it was adequate. The rooms are tired but it was clean. The hot water was barely warm and the heat in the room was insufficient. The bed had a good comforter on it and that made sleeping bearable. It cool be a very cool place but the owners do need to invest some money in a rooms remodel and upgrade and it could be a Carson City classic hotel.

Old hotel, dirty carpet, restroom fan very loud, elevator door closes too fast and hit me, small parking so I had to park across the hotel in a dark street, the coffee pot was dirty and the shower is very hard to open. The bed is not comfortable 😔 other than that the people at the desk are very nice people.
