The staff were all amazing and go the extra mile, the rooms were nice with everything you could possibly need. The restaurant food was 5 * would definitely recommend this hotel. We will return.

We were a gang of 7 cyclists stopping for one night D B&B. We were greeted by Lily who was a star all visit. Bikes locked away securely then off for nice hot showers. After a few decent pints locally at The Shovel & The Snug - we gathered for dinner in the very lively Junction Bar & Restaurant. Quality pub fayre followed - great pies, nice gammon, lasagne etc. The venue then switches to a lively bar with live music to get the atmosphere going. Next day a superb breakfast, fresh local ingredients fresh fruit etc again looked after by Lily. All in all great set up and location - need to be fit to get to attic rooms!

We had never been to stay in Carnforth, but a great Duo were playing in the hotel Saturday night, and we had seen them before, and they are brilliant, so we thought we would go and stay, and we were pleased we did. Lovely hotel and brilliant staff, bedroom and bathroom were really nice. Can't wait to go back. The food was amazing, and the breakfast was to die for.

An absolutely lovely overnight stay at this hotel,,,,,,a quirky building where old meets new fabulously,,,,, superb food served in lovely surroundings a busy well stocked public bar with entertainment and wonderfully friendly staff!, especially Lauren on reception and Flick in the restaurant

Noisy door and laminate flooring, only 4 hangers in wardrobe, bed not made on returning late on first day.bed was comfortable, Noisy fridge, not worth the charge

Colin went above and beyond on our night stay at the Royal Station Hotel. From making sure we arrived safely, finding us a parking space when we arrived and departed to making sure we had everything at breakfast time. He is an absolute credit and looked after us the whole time. Breakfast was fantastic and my room was beautiful, loved my pillows. Thank you very much for a great stay.

Excellent hotel right opposite Carnforth Train Station. Beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and wonderful attentive staff. Colin was my first contact when l originally phoned hotel. Colin was so professional, knowledgeable and kind. Excellent customer service, a fantastic impression given of hotel. The owners, Glen & Maggie are gems, looking after their guests with a kind friendly manner. Was a lovely stay in a lovely hotel with lovely staff. Thank you 🙏

I stayed with colleagues for work. We have stayed here before and it has always been good. I had room 23 which was spacious, well appointed and even had a small fridge with bottled water in it. A special treat was finding out my room had a small sun deck. The view over the rear courtyard isn't the greatest but it makes for a lovely place to enjoy an early cuppa while the sun comes up over the rooftops. Breakfast was again top notch. I asked for two substitutions which were done cheerfully and all cooked perfectly to order. Carnforth is close to the M6, and the hotel is 2 minutes walk from the Railway station where trains serve both the Cumbrian coast line and the line to Leeds. An excellent place to stay.
